Have you got a friend or sister you could invite round tonight to be with you and talk?
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.

Unfortunately not, I'm in this on my own.
  • Ok keep quiet for now, get a solicitors appointment for next week to find out where you stand. Get all the paperwork sorted so you know exactly what you have what you owe and such.
mortgage free by christmas 2014 owed £5,000, jan 2014 £4,170, £4,060, feb £3,818 march £3,399 30% of the way there woohoo
If you don't think you can go on look back and see how far you've come
  • What a terrible situation for you! you poor thing! sending hugs!!

Make sure the other chap doesnt tell his "wife"?! that you are aware of things now. She could quite easily tip your husband off!!

I've already been doing this, I owe about £4000 but this has been spent on the family and I have a couple of quid in savings.

I hadn't thought of that, maybe I should drop him a text and ask him no to say anything.

I would start packing up your husbands stuff in bin liners ready for when he comes back. Keep it in a spare room or something if you dont want the kids to see it.

I would definitely see a solicitor in the mean time and get anything you might need in a folder, like financial info, kids passports etc.
