Do you definitely know what he earns?
May be another reason he doesn't want to go through CSA.Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
I thought the mortgage was in his name only? Do you know who the remortgage is with so you can call and say the finances are in dispute maybe ask them to put a hold on the account. Find the paperwork relating to the house it must be there somewhere, if nothing else the number will be on bank statements.mortgage free by christmas 2014 owed £5,000, jan 2014 £4,170, £4,060, feb £3,818 march £3,399 30% of the way there woohoo

I think that would need to be done in writing to be accepted.
He won't be able to process a new house purchase between now and Monday, DH's solicitor will probably put a stop to it all the financial shenanigans when consulted on Monday. My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

Yes I know how much he earns, I see pay slips monthly.
The web site they met on isn't a pay one.
Bank statements are all in his name, they come in he looks at them the rips them up and bins them, same with credit card statements.0 -
Photocopy his wages slips.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0

OP, this is a horrible time for you... but hopefully you will take a little comfort from all of us out here who are wishing you well (I won't say what we are wishing your other half....), you will get through this, and we won't let him take your money or your children's!!!! - will we, ladies?!! (and gents..)0

He certainly sounds like he has something to hide if he is ripping them up. I am sorry that you have to go through this.
I feel like we are prying too much now. I assume that he gives you a monthly amount to live on.0 -
I once again thank you all for your support.
I'm still really worried about starting all this stuff, csa ect, as I know this aren't going to be pleasant and I really want to keep things nice for the kids.
I'm not at all worried about the mortgage as you all say nothing can be done unit Monday and that's when I'm seeing a solicitor.
I just need to get telling the children done and then we can all start healing.0 -
He was giving me £300 for food. I was then using child benefit, credit card to pay for any other expenses - swimming, ballet, karate etc0

Why don't you ring Women's Aid & talk things through with them? They are so helpful & supportive.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0
