Hiya NatWestStaffmember.......thanks! Doh - missed the search button.

I have written to Kays and sent me £10 cheque and the initial letter asking for a list of all the charges that I've had since I had the catalogue - nearly £500 in last couple years for being one day late or for them having to write to me etc. Anyhow, it's a lot of paperwork they've sent me - going take me ages to go through it and highlight the charges. My question is what do I do next.

I wanted to find the link to the thread to see if it was possible to claim back these charges - i.e. had anyone been successful!

I'm trying everything to scrape some money in as I've been off work after back surgery for 8 weeks and the SSP isnt really enough to pay my way - hubby paying for everything.

    Thanks again. x

You name the charges and we'll give you a thumbs up or a thumbs down for reclaiming. Overlimit fees/default fees are all reclaimable :D

They've sent me a huge list of statements - kinda cobble-de-cook, but there is a list of what their codes and abbreviations mean - 174G - Administration Charges - doesnt say what Admin they had to carry out, and I know for a fact it will have been writing to me re late payments - So NWSM, are you saying I can reclaim all of these?

Whats next step - hightlight them all on the statements and send them back to them with a letter?

Sorry if I'm asking you some simple question you've answered numerous times!

    Your a star!
  • £12 ones yep.
The process is similar to credit card reclaiming

The above is the guide. If you do not ask then how do you know? I wouldn't have got answers to many things if I hadn't asked so keep asking if you get stuck ;)

BUT make sure you keep us updated on your progress

There are different ones, £12 and £15 but all have the same codes.

    Thanks for your patience!

Did the £15 change to £12 around April to august 2006?
