In exactly the same way as claiming late payment charges on credit cards. See here:

  • Hiya

I sent Addiditons Direct an email yesterday asking them to send me Statements for the past 6 years to my Billing Address on file. They called me last night at 9.45pm saying that they wanted to let me know that there's a charge of 4.50GBP per Statement, and that If I'm asking for Statements going back 6 years, that its going to be expensive. I challenged them about this, and also mentioned that if I do it officially under the 'Data Protection Act 1998 Subject Access Request' then I should only pay 10.00GBP. She comletely dismissed this, and repeated that its 4.50GBP per Statement. She also asked me the reason for wanting the Statements in which I replied that I'm going through my finances.

End result, I'm not going to receive any Statements, but I am going to send them the 'Access Request' letter and a 10.00GBP cheque.

Has anyone else had any problems in getting Statements from them?
