Where did 3% come from? Are you confusing it with the Bank of England base rate? 8% is the interest you can claim in Court. It hasn't changed. Use 8%.0

Hiya,
I owed £121 to choice catalogue company but only paid £85 as that was all i could afford...i now have £36 left to pay but this amount is 3 charges of 12 pound that they applied to my account for two letters sent to me and a late payment fee...i was wondering if i paid this £36 then would i be able to claim it back?? or are they allowed to charge £12 and get away with it?

Yes, they can charge you reasonable fees for not paying a bill.
Next time, if you only have £85, it might be an idea to only purchase £84 worth of goods.0 -
