hi everyone,
just putting together my letters (letter 1)
does anyone know the correct addresse for littlewoods catalog & littlewoods visa card?
thanks from claire.0 -
Well Done samhb!
I also got paid in vouchers, when you go to spend them make sure you send your order and vouchers at the same time. I ordered online and then got a letter saying I had to pay before the goods were sent out. sent vouchers (recorded delivery) and received goods just after.

Hi all
Reading up on the forum I noticed people talking about catalogue charge reclaiming. How do i go about this the only templated letters seem to be in the bank reclaiming area.
Can I use these?
Do I have to tweak em?
THe charges equal 3 quarters of my remaining balance so if i can get it I want it lol.
thanks0 -
Yes i would just change the bank charge templates to suit the catalogue charges. They may pay back as a gesture of goodwill probably just pay it into your remaining balance. No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

I have found this search facility from the Government's Information Commissioner website useful for finding Data Protection and/or head office addresses:

I recently wrote to Littlewoods Requesting a list of all the charges made to my account in the last six years and i got a letter back on Friday explaining;
I have requested a signed copy of my credit agreement.( which i have'nt i requested a list of charges)
Our archives have been checked and i can confirm that we do not hold a copy of the original signed credit agreement.
I should explain that, whilst a court has power to decide that we cannot enforce the agreement, it does not mean that the debt does not exist, There is clear evidence of a credit based relationship between Littlewoods and myself.
Confused? i know, so i would like a bit of advice what to do next? as i have acumalated quite a few charges over the past couple of years e.g late payment charges, over limit charges, admin charges and telephone call charges. What does this mean for me, as i don't have a signed credit agreement with them? Would this make it easier to claim back my charges?0 -
Can anyone advise, I will be trying to clear my JD Williams catalogue account in the next few weeks, but I have many £12 charges been added due to my not being able to make the payments, I have kept them informed that I would be clearing the balance, but each month for the last 3 they have added 2 x £12 charges on the same day of each month. (£72)
Are these charges legal or can I make an offer to clear less these charges and whats the chance of it being accepted. As the account stands at around £800 any reduction I could get would go towards paying off other debts.:j :j :j :T :T0 -
I am informed that you could consider submitting a subject access request to the company asking them for full details of your account with them. There is a £10 fee to pay.
Basically, treat the admin charges as for bank charges. Note that you may well have been charged interest on top of those admin charges, which increases the problem, and you should claim that back.
You need to pay for the goods you bought however.
You could check out CAG or PC for further assistance.
Good luck. Please ignore those people who post on this forum who deliberately try to misinform you. Don't be bullied by them, don't be blamed by them. You know who I mean.
You come here for advice, help and support- thats what I and like minded others will try to do.0 -
having just recieved my credit report i have noticed that I had an old account with this Catalogue Company and there looks to have been a few charges on the account. Have rang the company to request informatiopn on the account as i no longer have any details of it. They saythat because the account was closed in 2004 that its `dropped` off the system. Is there anyway of obtaining the information so i can look into the account in greater detail.0
