Naturally Close have sent me their final letter - from a claim of £322 - offering me £1. They claim this is the difference of any charge over £12 since the OFT suggested it. Funny that - when every charge is over £12. Maybe when I win - I should buy them a calculator!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sent it to the Fo with my complaint. Lets wait and see now...0 -
Thats so funny, wot r they playing at, just take em to court Kimmie, they soon give in then :O)0

having trouble with la redoute!!
Sent them a letter requesting my statements and recieved loads of bumf! Even sent me records of phone conversations and stuff like that.
In the letter that came with it at the end of the 2 page letter it says:-
"whist writing may I point out that we do not concider the admin charges to be unfair or disproortionately high. They comply with guidance issued by the Office of Fair Trading in April 2006 following their consultation with 8 major credit card issuers. Please note that the Mail Order/Home shopping Industry was not included in this consultation. We feel the charges are a reasonable pre-estimate of the additional costs incurred by La Redute in handling your failure to comply with the terms and conditions and pay your account in a timely manner.
As such any request in the future for a refund of charges applied to your account would be refused."
So does this mean theres no point in me carrying on with this?
Not sure what to do now.0 -

Sent email to studio, got statements within a week. Replied same day asking for charges to be refunded. Week later (today) £185 in vouchers have arrived (was £218 claimed but minus the outstanding balance) Just rang they said send back and will send cheque. V.pleased - will use the cash to pay chunk off credit card!
To anyone thinking of claiming with them, just email the bank templates but change bank charges to administrative charges. No stamps needed and sorted in 2 weeks!0 -
Hi
Understand charges for late payments and the like can be re-claimed from Mail Order Catalogue companies such as Kays and Marshall Ward.
Have not read many postings about people going for these or even more worryingly, any success stories!
Am I flogging a dead horse by attempting to get charges back off these companies or worth a punt??
Thanks for any input and apologies if posted in wrong place ! : )
