I have just recieved my Studio invoices since 2003. There are £218.85 worth of charges! The first couple in 2003 are for £12.95 is it worth claiming for those? I sent the request for them via email and they sent them within te week. I can't believe how lazy I was in paying the £10 a month on time !0

Hello
I'm getting my brother to print off the letter tomorrow which is to Ace requesting £223.70. I also want to ask for interest charges returned as they charge us for it.
I went through my trading statement and just highlighted every 'Administration charge' and some of mine too at the start were £12.95.
I am still applying for them.
I did have a few of these so called administration charges refunded near the time they were first issued. I recall the conversation I had on the telephone even though it was in 2003.
At the time I remember saying can you explain to me why it costs you £12.95 for my payment to be late and how can it possibly cost that amount to send me a letter saying I was late with my payment.
I seem to remember even requesting that they save tree's and keep their letters and don't charge me instead!!
Good luck with it. I will keep you updated.0 -
I received my Trading Statement from Ace (i just emailed the request for it) and am about to send letter requesting my charges back. Only trouble is I know I have had my account with them for about 8 years and yet they only sent 5 years worth of info.

Thanks In advance for all your help
Does that mean that you no longer have a balance outstanding on your account?
I guess if you make sure that you send all correspondance to them with your proper name instead of their version.
They will find your details using your account number and address and it shouldn't matter if the name is different from what they have.
If they agree to pay up I guess you could clarify then either in writing or over the phone the name to which you want payment made out to.
Not really sure so keep it bumped up.0 -

That right i have cleared the balance and no longer have the account as i closed it, but i just dont want to waste my time claiming my charges back if they will incorrectly spell my name and then i wont be able to pay the cheque into my account or cash it anywhere0 -

Hi there, i recently got back £80 from Studio really easily, they were very nicce seeing as i only requested £60. Also i waited around 60 days for my littlewoods statements, they were gobbldeegook, ive no idea which charges i can claim for as they have codes for everything!
Anyone else had experience of littlewoods, any advice on what i can include would be much appreciated?
Thanks0 -
I phoned and complianed when I was charged £24 on my grattan cat. Just reminded them that the fees were unjust and quoted this website to the guy on the other end of the phone. He took off charges there and then and being that was all I owed them I didn't bother to go back form past statements and just closed the account0

Well Naturall Close (part of the Simply be /JD Williams group) have taken the biscuit. Received an email to call their Customer Resolutions department. They said an offer letter went out to us on the 10th May. When I went through their correspondence, it was actually the usual letter justify £12 charge etc.... and crediting .....................wait for it.................................. £1 in charges (claimed £322). JOKE JOKE JOKE0

Hi
I have been reading about claiming admin fees from catalogues. I emailed Abound who are part of Littlewoods group and they advised that they only hold statements on file for 6months so would be unable to send me anything prior to this date. Should I send a letter to Littlewoods requesting all statements?0 -

Yes, I would send a SAR and see what they come back with.0
