But you are not out of pocket so I still don't get your problem.Reclaimed thanks to this site:
£175 Abbey Mortgage Repayment Fee, £170.03 Capital One Bank Charges £418.07 Lloyds TSB Bank Charges, £2,671.55 Mis-sold Endowment Policy, all for OH0 -
The point is I did not send them the cheque to pay into my Studio account. It was sent to cover any charge made for sending me the statements and for no other purpose.0

Yes I accept that and I agree they should have just sent it back but have you had any loss by them paying it into your account? Seeing that you were prepared to let go of that money in return for the statements, and they have done that service for free, I still fail to see what is so terrible about what they have done.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

I understand what you mean - they used your cheque for something else than what they orginally said they were going to use it for and without your permission. I'd be mad too! :mad:0 -

Anyone any experience of Simply Be (who I think are owned by JD Williams)?
I'm having trouble paying so asked that it go onto a payment plan but I think I see a heck of a lot of late payment charges on my account from before that.
Also, I assume if the charge isn't more than around £12, that's legal isn't it?
I have a lot of 'service charge' for x amount on my account. Confusing.:: BCSC #71 but now discharged! ::0 -
Service charge might be the interest,on the balance owed.0
