i've sent the normal letter for the statements then sent my first letter asking for the charges with interest ( £147 )

In the post on Friday i have a letter from the store ( studio cards ) and they have enclosed non transferrable gift vouchers as payment !

My account is already £10 in credit, and i have no wish to purchase anything else with them, where do i stand ? can i force them to pay in real money ?

Well I was really glad to read through these messages....
I have an outstanding balance of £101.82 with Choice and I am struggling to clear it this month, so I emailed them to ask if I could pay half this month and half next. Email reply said I had to ring their Payment Helpline.
Well Helpline is a dubious word to use! I rang a short time ago only to be told that they could either set up a payment arrangement but the payments would have to be made by 13th of each month (I get paid on 15th!) and have an arrangement fee of £10 or I could not pay the minimum amounts on my next two statements and be charged £12 a time for that! Talk about darned if you do and darned if you don't!

AND I had to ring a Premium rate phone number just to get this "help"! Grrr.

Anyway, from what I've read, it seems the best thing for me to do is make payments on 16th of March and April, get charged and then reclaim the charges.... is that right? (has the world gone mad!?)

Lee69, no-one from STUDIO has called me back either, i have called again, to be told "someone will get back to you, it takes a few days". Think it was Thursday the first time I phoned. If no joy i am thinking of just writing a letter, sending the vouchers back and requesting a cheque....what do you think ?
