Hi Goldie, glad I opted not to use the switching thing too..

Did you have any issue changing your TSB account to paperless? it won't do it for me for some reason.. it keeps bringing up an error message..

I used the S123 changeover team and they were superb :T

    • butchers - £20 - ran out of chicken again!

Also got some batch cooking done today in between visits from family
    • beef stew
    • mango chutney  first time making this, hope its nice, it made 1 kilo using 2 bags of frozen mango
    • chicken pieces for OH lunches
    • loaded potato skins for my lunches
    • pasta for lunches

Still haven't transferred my money over to T$B, need to go and do that now...

Have you tried your mango chutney yet?

This is something I'm thinking of doing myself.

I like mango chutney, but the jar that I have in the cupboard has too much salt in for my requirements, so I'd like to give it a go myself

I'm in the process of changing my DD's at the moment. I'm leaving the gas and electric for a couple of weeks as the quarterly bill date is very close, but the others seem to only take a couple of days to set up

After doing a lot of financial admin, that cup of tea is very welcome

Morning Goldie, yes we had a bit last night with our tea.

It didn't taste exactly like the mango chutney you buy but it was nice.. I'll post the link up later for you (on iPad at the minute) I think it needed a little more spice but I can't quite put my finger on what's different.

I don't think there was much salt in it but I'm sure it would be fine to leave out.

e.t.a it won't let me add the link for some reason - it's the first one of the pictures on this link though..

List complete except for the puzzle subscription - can't find my paperwork.

Car insurance will be £80 cheaper this year with £30 cashback too. Just need to ring old company tomorrow to cancel the renewal..

Unfortunately the cheapest insurance was with Church1ll and I hate that dog :rotfl::rotfl: but if he saves me £100 then I can ignore him (still can't bring myself to like him!):D

So as usual.. week off work indicates much spending as we're in to receive deliveries :D
    • most of Xmas presents for OH bought - £8.37 voucher used so total spend £30
    • Xmas presents for sister bought - £57 vouchers used so total spend £30
    • bought some net curtains/poles for the upstairs windows for over winter - £40
    • decided to paint the bathroom - Dark Duck Egg - paint £17, gear already got (may need some new towels to go with it :o)

Made up for these spends by
    • 22p overpymt of T$B interest to mortgage :rotfl:
    • listed an item on Ebay, free listing and the item was a freebie I had
    • budgeted £300 for car insurance - came to £208 so put the saving into the offset - waiting for £30 cashback - also put it on my 0% CC so not paying this for 18 months :j
    • no petrol spend this week for me - will make OH drive everywhere:rotfl:

Just found out our local post office is open until 7pm so I may be able to find some extra bits for ebay now I know I can get to post them easily..:T
