Goldie, I read on a post somewhere that a lady spent hours a day entering between 100-200 competitions  i'm not sure i'm that dedicated!!

Off to enter a few more whilst I watch Location, Location, Location :D

100 - 200 a day? I hope she had a couple of wins, she deserves it!

I'm sure she did, but it wasn't stuff I would want to win, I imagine her friends and family get some strange Xmas or birthday presents sometimes :rotfl:

Off work today :j:j have much catching up of household chores, admin and diary reading to do.

I haven't felt well these past couple of days. I've been breaking out in hives since Tuesday in massive patches covering my whole body  very itchy, burny, and uncomfortable. I'm hoping its viral as I've been feeling exhausted and foggy with it but lots of people say it might be an allergy.

So in case it's an allergy, today I'm going to have a shower with just water, no deodorant, no perfume, no makeup, no hair product and I need to wash everything I own in the new washing liquid I bought plus give it an extra rinse and see what happens over the weekend. Luckily I'm not going out anywhere :rotfl:

If it's none of that then it's a trip to the doctor's :( which I don't have time for next week! It always seems to fall at awkward times doesn't it!!

off to scout about for some breakfast, then get on with chores, hope OH has left me a banana :D

    Xx

eta just caught up with loads of surveys and redeemed £30 in time for Chrimbo :T

Evening all.. just finished my busy week at work :j part time until the new year now :j

Haven't had chance to get on here at all this week - withdrawal systems going on!

The good thing is that I also haven't had time to spend any unnecessary money :T but I must, must finish my Christmas shopping next week otherwise the panic will set in :rotfl:

Think the only spends this week are on :
    - shopping £35
    - dentist - temporary fitting of a crown £250  (final bit in 2 weeks time)
    - one xmas present - £15
    - Slimming W0rld £5 - lost 10lb so far :T

I had to pop to the shop to get some soup for my tea, 89p for a tin of Heinz Tomato.. my favourite :D also a necessary spend as i'm feeling miserable after my mouth being poked and prodded so classing as a treat to ease the soreness;)

Off to catch up with everyone, hope you're all well and dandy xx

Morning all, now off work for a long weekend :j The only problem of having holiday from work is having to fit all your work into 3 days instead of 5! :( never mind it's done now for a few days..

Spendy, busy weekend planned :( car, hair, Xmas presents

Just popping to do list up so I don't forget anything..
    - drop car at garage - winter service and clunking sound
    - hairdressers for root coverage - done £70
    - get aunts and cousins presents - done
    - orders last few presents online - done
    - fetch Xmas orders from Debenh*ms - done
    - empty spare room, make bed for sisters stay - part done
    - sort out all presents and start wrapping
    - ring YBS see why they haven't opened my new account yet - done, they've lost the form AGAIN!
    - ring FD and close account as they've ignored my email - done
    - finish painting the bathroom, need to get some new towels and soap squirty thing in the sales
    - sort bathroom cabinet stuff in the box and put it back in the bathroom cabinet!
    - send off dentist claim forms - should be £260ish :T - done, cheque is on it's way :j
    - make chilli jam
    - make chorizo jam
    - make infused salts

On the money-savings side of things - OH got his Xmas meat from work on Wednesday, it's a 3kg joint of beef  there are only 4 of us for dinner this year :rotfl: stupidly I forgot to cut it in half before I froze it so I'll have to cook it all and then re freeze.. Forward thinking doesn't always happen in our house :o

We're going to slow roast it overnight  so it should be beautiful, we don't often have beef so it's a bit of a treat for us:T

Right I need to get up and ready to pop to town and fetch the presents for Aunty and cousins.. Up and at 'em!

    Just updating..

We were up early this morning to drop the car in the garage.. thought we'd have a bit of exercise and walk the 2 miles back  I nearly fell over approximately 300 times on the blinking ice :rotfl: i'm laughing now because we're home but I was losing my sense of humour somewhat at the time :D

Last bits of Xmas shopping should be arriving today so I might start wrapping this afternoon and get them put under the tree.

I totted up my spends yesterday and it's  but I hadn't saved up my vouchers enough this year to offset much :o must try harder next year not to spend them on myself :rotfl: if I hadn't used them then i'd have been neutral in my spends..:T

A day of sorting out for me today - get the bedrooms looking spick and span for Xmas visitors :T

have a good one and stay indoors until that pesky ice has melted! xx

That's a lot of progress on the to do list :j

It's great when things get sorted. I should be able to tick off my remaining 'to do' things in the next day or two, then I can just look forward to Christmas and my holiday (and retirement:rotfl:)

I did all the easy bits first :o.. i'm ignoring the fact the bathroom needs painting still! :rotfl:

I hope you're going to have some "to do" lists when you retire, you'll get bored else :D I can send you some if you want!;)

A day in the kitchen tomorrow is calling, so the chorizo jam, chilli jam and infused salts will hopefully get made and I've just found the recipe for Monkey Bread  so i'll make that and freeze at the risen stage so that I can just bake it Xmas morning for a "healthy" breakfast :rotfl::rotfl:

    Off to start wrapping :(

Well some more things ticked off the list, I didn't get into the kitchen yesterday so that was today's job.. :j chorizo jam and chilli jam made - the chorizo jam is a bit weird, i'll reserve judgement until we taste it.

Monkey bread is having it's last prove before I freeze it. I added pecan nuts to make it a bit more scrummy... can't wait until Xmas morning :rotfl: I don't really like Xmas dinner  so the monkey bread will be my treat for the day! nom nom nom...

Gave up wrapping last night so still have to do that.. OH is out most evenings this week so I have plenty of time, although I have another menu board to make too.

When does the busy-ness stop  :rotfl:

    xx

:rotfl: With all the things I've got in mind to do, I don't think 'to do' lists are going to disappear. If anything, they might get longer! :rotfl:
