cheers TGT.
Hope I at least get a date out of it, she seems really nice0 -
Well, after another insanely long e-mail from the girl from last night (the one a lot shorter than me), I replied and then send a Ps. second message asking her if she wanted to go for a coca-cola (I hate coffee!) or a walk along the river sometime.
Waiting for a reply now, but she's online!
Edit - She's replied and said it sounds like a lovely idea. Go me!0 -
Great news Scotty! It's quite exciting when you get chatting to someone that seems really nice.
Coi operated girl - he sounds lovely, to have taken on board the fact you like Italian, maybe he was just incredibly nervous. Hope your next date goes well.
Good luck missmontana for tomorrow.
Oooh and lufcgirl!
Wow, must be something in the water! We're all dating this week!Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
Lufcgirl - go you indeed!!! I hope it goes well, if she's nice then maybe the height won't bother you as much as you think it will.
Good luck with it Scotty! Let us know...0 -

I hope not! But we're going for a drink so I think that the height won't matter too much when we're sitting down. It's going to be when I stand up and feel like a complete giant!0 -

Sapphireeye is your clingy ex on PoF? If so pm me his user name and I'll tell you what he wrote about himself... hehehe!!
Unfortunately not (or not that I know of), he's on match.com. Actually... I just googled his match.com username to see if he came up anywhere else and he's on some forum for people who like to be tickled and meet up to tickle each other?! It sounds a bit odd, I think I was probably well out of that one!
It sounds like everything is going well, coinoperatedgirl, I'm glad your date was ok and as others have said, some people just don't get the spark straight away! lufcgirl, good luck on both your forthcoming dates, even if one isn't for a while yet!0 -

Don't forget though, you might feel like a giant but I'll bet she'll be concious of it too and might be feeling like a midget! It's just something you'll both have to get past..... either that or just stay sitting down!!0 -
I got a reply :j and replied back, nothing back yet though.
Is it really bad that i kind of did some stalking and found him on twitter, which gave me his full name that i then found on facebook?Weirdly we have friends in common...
I really shouldn't stalk people... :AThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Haha, if someone gives me their name or email address or another kind of clue (perhaps where they work) I do that too. I call it 'research'
I had date number 2 last night. Before I went I wasn't that bothered about going. Not sure why, I think its because physically I wasn't attracted to him. Although looks aren't that important to me, when thats pretty much all you have to go on I'm finding it becoming more important. Anyway, turns out hes a lot nicer looking in RL than his profile picture. I was say we hit it off pretty well, there may have even been a bit of a spark! The trouble is, we both ended up getting pretty drink so its hard to tell. But I mean, before we were drunk I think we still got on well. I don't know what we were drinking (some non-fizzy cider I've never heard of). It was lethal. At on point I had to go to the toilet in the pub and was sick- yeah, I'm classy like that. Came back out and pretended nothing had happened. We didn't drink that much, so I'm blaming the cider. I think it was quite strong. Anyway, it was nice, we talked for about 3 and a half hours until the pub kicked us out. I said if you fancy doing it again sometime to let me know and he said yeah definitely so hopefully that wasn't just him being drunk/polite.
I was supposed to have a date tonight but he cancelled on me. I've met this one once before and I'm pretty sure that its a genuine cancellation. I'll leave it up to him to reschedule though just in case he is trying to drop some hints. I don't think he is because we've been exchanging quite a lot of texts pretty much everyday since we met and hes already asked if I want to go to this thing in December, so I think he still likes me.
Date number 1 (who my friend refers to as gadget boy- he works for a certain area of the government but he is not allowed to tell anyone what he does, so I've come to the conclusion that he must be a spy) has asked if I fancy going to the zoo on the weekend. So he seems kinda keen considering I only met him the other day, but I think I'll say yes.
I think after the second date I should chose whether I want to carry on seeing him and date number 3 if he reschedules, because after that I think it would start turning more into proper dates rather than just meeting up and I dont want to be dating 3 guys at once. Apart from anything else, its exhausting! I'm starting a new job on monday so I'm not going to have time for all this once I start.Knock me down I'll get right back up again, I'll come back stronger than a powered up Pac-Man0 -
Well, I also had date number 2 last night but I don’t think there will be any more – I just don’t fancy him! He’s a really nice guy but he just reminds me of an excitable puppy! Will probably stay friends but there wont be anything romantic going on. Oh well, back to the drawing board!0
