So far the few men who have messaged me to chat & are only 10 years older than me (or less) appear to have decided that they no longer wish to chat. Was it something I saidalthough how "That sounds like fun - I'm usually around after 8pm if you'd like to chat" can possibly sound so offensive/unattractive I do don't know. It does suggest that I'm in most nights though - which is certainly true.
How is everyone else doing?
Maybe you are setting your standards too high.
You should take the upper age limit off your ad, or maybe adjust it to include men up to 75.;):rotfl:0 -

Thanks for that
I don't have an upper age limit set - they just seem to find me. Although I had been chatting to a 65 year old for a few weeks who lives in an area I know well. Today he messaged me saying he didn't feel he could chat anymore as he was now dating a 37 year old & he didn't think it was fair to either of us! Chuffed for him & I admire his honesty but boy, do I feel even more left on the shelf after that :rotfl:
Friday night, no kids & I'm sat here in my PJs with a beer, watching the Paralympics. Bliss.
Happy Date Night everyone.& as for some happy ending I'd rather stay single & thin

Oh dear! I had a brief stint on zoosk but the messages I received really put me off (sex themed, every last one) but at least I found out what they were after prior to a date! I live in a small town and half the people locally I knew/knew of which was off putting too.
Also in my pjs watching the Paralympicsand wondering which site to take the plunge with.

I see there are a few newbies on this thread, I pop in and out every so often, I'm the one with the dyslexic non pc owning friend, so I do her stuff all she has to do is go on dates, she had another nutter this week, I am hoping we can find at least one normal man for here to have a date with this side of Christmas!! I have her on four sites, all free, and still the same losers on each of them!!0

This reminds me of a Victoria Wood sketch from years ago. She helped her friend with video dating. Her friend, who was a tad dowdy, asked her to be 'less funny and attractive' so she assumed different characters each time but the bloke always ended up fancying the friend!
You're not hiding something, are you? :rotfl:0 -

tbh I'd just like to meet people more than guys, for example there's a band I'd love to see live but none of my friends are even close to liking that type of music! Unfortunately my job doesn't let me meet that many new people (and no single guys!) so this may be the way to go for now...
I found it the best thing since sliced bread! Also combine several sites with Meetups - then you have choices of spare time activities0
