Hmmmm, tricky one – I think if it was one of my best mates fellas on the website then I think I would but if it was just someone I knew I don’t think so (though if I was friendly with their best mate I might mention it casually to them – ‘sorry to hear about x & y splitting up’ ‘they haven’t’ ‘oh, I saw his profile on pof and just assumed they weren’t together anymore’.0 -
To be fair it could be an old profile they didn't know how to take down or just forgot about. I had a plentyoffish profile I forgot about!
I had no luck with Internet dating either; it's easier to stay single! :T0 -

I agree with the old profile thing but most dating sites will give an idea as to when they were last active - if the profile shows as 'user last online within the last 7 days' but your friend has been with him for a few months or longer, he's probably up to no good!0 -

Haha, SailorSam, that did make me laugh!
I never get any interest either, or at least, any interest from men I'd also be interested in. I think there is a relatively small window for matching up with people - I think I've missed that unfortunately.0 -
There are over 6 billion people on this world, and there must be someone for everyone. The day it stops being worth it is the day we lose what makes us, well us - our ability to put our selves past our comfort zone and out on the edge for something we believe in.I get down about being single, I have been for ages and yet the only things I have that keeps me going is words of encouragement from you guys and the one thought that if shrek can get it, even I can.
Oh and don't start the whole "when you stop looking someone will come along" please anyone, I've been hearing it for the last 25 years (or more!) and I'm sick of it, along with all the other platitudes people come out with.
I'm done with it.0
