I find that offensive, though to be fair the same can be said about some women.

Never said it couldn't. If you knew my relationship history you'd understand why i think the above.

There you go gentlemen, and ladies i suppose. Words of wisdom straight from the horses mouth. Someone who's worked there.
I don't know why so many people struggle to write a simple Email, it doesn't have to be long.
Paragraph 1, a couple of sentences to say why you're writing, why you chose this person to say hello to.
Paragraph 2, two more short sentences pick a couple of things out of their profile and ask about them
Paragraph 3, just one longer sentence saying good bye and good luck,
Unfortunately as Vestan says, no matter what women say about personality being more important and that they want someone honest and caring, if you haven't got the looks you're going to go to the back of the queue.

Had a fake female profile on POF and it was shocking the amount of guys that would e-mail with little more than 'Hi wanna ****".
Made me realise why so few women reply to genuine messages because for my real profile me messages will be getting sunk in the rubbish ones.
Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.

Personality is very important obviously but looks are too. There has to be some physical attraction there too, and anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves.

I thought about doing that, i thought if i could see what other men wrote i may get some tips.
It didn't work for me, perhaps i shouldn't of used that photo of Mrs Overall from Acorn Antiques.
Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

  • Well I decided I was ready to start dating again and signed up for dating direct and paid for a couple of months. So far I seem to be attracting either alot younger or older men. Not many my own age, not sure why. I'll keep trying it for a while and see what happens. I'm meeting someone on thursday that looked ok on his profile pictures so i'll see how recent they are!

Did sign up for POF but tend to keep my profile hidden unless i'm actually on the site due to the overwhelming number of emails, alot of them have content I did not sign up for!

I'm intending to keep trying this for a little while and see how it goes. I did meet one guy who was lovely but their was no spark, felt horrible telling him that as he liked me. But its the best thing to do, hated saying it though.

Well despite what I've said in the past about free dating sites, I've been looking at the Guardian's and I'm tempted to join up. Some of the men sound like they know the meaning of the word culture and wouldn't yawn at the sound of the word 'museum'. Before anyone takes offence i'm not talking about any man here but my past relationships ;)

I'm sure there must be, but I'm not sure how I'd go about it. I don't really spend that much time on here so I don't really know who's who as I just tend to pop in and out of threads.
