Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.

    Hey you guys!!!

    Don't feel down!!

There are over 6 billion people on this world, and there must be someone for everyone. The day it stops being worth it is the day we lose what makes us, well us - our ability to put our selves past our comfort zone and out on the edge for something we believe in.

Love, IMHO, is like looking for a new world - its scary, you don't know were your going, you make it up as you go along and deal with set backs, low points and high points. Some times you'll find what looks to be the place, but then find its not - but you leave with renewed hope and knowledge.

So less of the negativity, get up put your best fake smile on, think of what ever makes you smile, laugh and feel good and go for it again.

I get down about being single, I have been for ages and yet the only things I have that keeps me going is words of encouragement from you guys and the one thought that if shrek can get it, even I can.

I met my ex on Plenty of Fish. At the time i thought he was a good catch amongst a group of men who left a lot to be desired (having spoken to a few i was on the verge of packing it in).

Anyway, he's my ex for a reason. Turns out he wasn't a good catch after all and actually it was quite apt him being on there as he turned out to be as wet as a fish.

Horrible site, avoid at all costs. I think if a dating site's free, it's generally to be avoided.

Or you leave with renewed knowledge that men are a bit crap and not worth the hassle :)

It wasn't the website that turned out to be bad; it was your ex. What you really mean is: "horrible man, avoid at all costs" not "horrible website."

I met my ex on a dating website, too, and he turned out to be a cheating, lying, two-timing scumbag who tore my heart into little shreds. But that wasn't the website's fault. The website itself was rather good, and my ex's character is no reflection on the website, because he is not affiliated with it.

I find that offensive, though to be fair the same can be said about some women.

Well i convinced my friend to sign up to POF, the very next day she had a date that went pretty well, and is seeing him again

I can't sing POF's praises highly enough, would never have met my lovely bf were it not for it :o

eta: we both deleted our POF profiles when we started going out. That said when i was single i signed up to every dating site out there and cant even remember which ones so i never deleted all of them...but i havent been on any of them since we got together. He knows this though.

  • Personally for me Forums tend to be best, I feel more likely to meet possible guy friends and would be boyfriend material because people get to know me at depth and that makes all sorts of relationships to happen.
