Where do you live 40s Gal, if you get up this part of the world you want to try and find the time to go to the new National Museum of Liverpool Life. It's really good, it's easy to spend the whole day in there.

I'm in Doncaster. I've only been to Liverpool once for uni and even though it was peeing it down, and the uni project involved traipsing round the biennial (i.e traipsing round looking at modern art that can only be described as awful), and my nan had recently passed away, I really enjoyed it and liked the city and would like to go back soon. The people were so nice and friendly and every time i looked lost someone came over to ask if they could help.

Besides which the history of the city is fascinating and I loved seeing places that I'd read about in books. Hopefully I'll get back soon

I love it. That whole first half of the 20th Century was an incredible time. I never tire of reading about it.

I've just been listening to an interesting interview on the radio (Radio Merseyside), the guy was the owner of a dating site but only for married people to meet for a bit-on-the-side. He never said the name of the site just that it was aimed at the higher end of the market and was expensive, they intentionally kept it that way so as to discourage the rif-raf. He was asked the ratio of men to women, we were only talking about that here a couple of days ago. But on this 'adult' site there are 3 women for every 2 men.
Wow that's a surprise.

That crossed my mind as well.
I think the reason the site wasn't named was 'cos of marketing, the Bbc weren't going to give him free advertising.

Call me a cynic, but I'd think advertising.

Not only is it a trigger further media discussion, with printed media happy to exclusively out it by name. It will have people searching Google (other search engines are available) for the site, and is likely to have a hoard of horny blokes wanting to part with their cash to sign up for this under sexed rich posh totty.
