I love Caffe Nero. It was my regular at uni but since I moved back home Costa is closest. Plus if i get one from where my sister works, at the motorway services, i get to use her discount and it's something like 75% off. Brill!0 -

Went to edinburgh weekend before last and he proposed, (but we had talked about it before), chose a sterling silver ring from orkney jewellery (I dont like diamonds and gold and pearls), I chose this ring as its silver.
We have a lot to do like finishing his house so daughter can live there on her own, then he move into mine but we are happy and he has just bought an mx5, as we are all classic car mad. I love the guy so much and hes a big softy like me and absolutely fantastic and always supports me.
Everyone is happy for us.
We are both very lucky and connect so well. Hes my soul mate and I cant imagine life without him by my side. Im sure my late father is sat on his cloud smiling for me.:D:rotfl::T0 -

Day off thats a different matter

Certainly is! The other day I got cake and a latte. The cake was about £2.45 and the latte was the same. All in all what should have been £5 was £1.25
I do miss Nero's though. Not least of all because the manager was sooo good lookinghehe He used to take the mick out of me because i drank Mint Latte's like they were going out of fashion.

Haha not very "support"ive!! Did they say why?
Eventually. I received a generic "our system sometimes mistakes unusual punctuation for email addresses" but they still didn't approve my profile (& I don't think my grammer was too shocking). In the end it took issuing a "beat my profile rejection challenge" in the daily comments section to get it sorted - that post was also rejected so I'm guessing support don't have a GSOH, but my profile was finally approved.runningwoman wrote: »Good luck- I would say it's worth getting a decent photograph of yourself - obviously accurate, but as flattering and recent as possible - as that's something people are going to see straight away rather than one that just "passes". I guess I was lucky to be (just about :rotfl:) in the digital age for most of my socialising adult life, so when internet dating, I always had some recent digital photos kicking about.
But if I were you I'd see if I could maybe use your webcam/digital camera if you have one to make sure you get a good one (or a few)?
That is excellent advice Runningwoman. If only I could get a decent photo of myself :rotfl:. I'm one of those people who just don't photograph well - my wedding photographer commented that he was having to take millions more than normal just to get me to look good. Just what you want to hear on your big day. He did a good job, but using a wedding photo strikes me an somewhat inappropriate...
I shall have to get someone to take some when I'm not looking, & hope for the best.
Butterfliesarepretty - that is wonderful news! So happy for you & it gives the rest of us some hope.
Did anyone listen to radio 2 this lunchtime - they did a slot about internet/speed dating which was hilarious & depressing at the same time. Worth a listen online if you missed it.& as for some happy ending I'd rather stay single & thin

I wonder why people put old photographs up, I mean they are going to get found out eventually If they meet up with someone arent they?0

Does seem a bit mad doesn't it. I do have a few really flattering (for me) old photos that I could use - but wouldn't for that exact reason. Why start off lying when you are looking for a (hopefully) long term partner?
I doubt seeing the guys jaw fall to the floor would do much for my confidence either!
Have had some amusing messages so far, & a few not so amusing but nothing planned yet. I still can't believe I'm doing this.& as for some happy ending I'd rather stay single & thin
