As an experiment i set up a female profile a while back.
Yesterday i decided to change 'her' seeking from 'dating' to 'intimate encounter' Withing 3 mins i had 5 messages.
Today logged in and got such classics as:

Some men's first messages are always about sex even without the woman saying she is looking for an intimate encounter. And they are easily blocked.

Hey people, a wee word of warning
Theres a guy on POF who I started chatting to today, seemed nice at first although a bit cagey about giving out much info. Understandable on these sites so I wasnt too worried. No idea why but something just didnt sit right with me though so I googled his image. Well imagine my (mock) surprise when it transpired it belonged to some (probably) unsuspecting Spanish guy!

I wanted to write this to let you know how my experience has been researching free dating sites. I have registered for a few different sites, and sadly I have had to take my profile down after countless spam emails and message responses repeatedly looking for totally different things that I am posting that I am looking to match with for a partner. I signed up an account with MyMatchHunter.com after a friend of mine overseas told me they have had a positive experience with it so far. It was easy to navigate and I even emailed the site to ask questions about a feature and was pleasantly surprised about the prompt response I recieved. I love that the features are all clear on the main page. They also have a chat and shout box feature which I think are a good way to make conversation with other users. There is also such a vast diversity of people from all over the world. I am happy with my experience with them so far. I'm curious what others users of the site think and their experiences with it. Think cabin fever is setting in. Off work sick, nothing else to do so decided to flick through the "meet me" feature on POF. Looked at 400 pics (yes, I counted!) and didnt click yes or maybe once!! Think Im too fussy. Had a look at the people who have viewed me and its like a rogues gallery from crimewatch. There really is no hope!! Im no oil painting but really, this is ridiculous!!
Oh well, off to do some mind numbingly boring housework now. Got to be better than fishing lol.
