I have just taken a look at your profile from a female point of view. I cannot see much wrong with it at all. You might want to add an apostrophe to the heading so that it reads 'Looking for a man who's romantic and loves cuddles.' It was the first thing that I noticed - but I have to admit to being a bit of a pedant.
Your photos are lovely, and you describe yourself very well.
I think too many restrictions on who you want to contact you may be putting people off, even if they do not fall into any of those restricted categories.
Would you consider extending the age range of men you are looking for? I think you would certainly attract men in their mid to late thirties.

Personally I find relationships with younger men better than those of my own age, but I can understand that it's not for everyone. Not Rachmaninov

Hi everyone.
I get so annoyed when people are too cowardly to tell someone they're not interested anymore. I feel really disappointed. I'm so fed up of dating really. I've had about 10 dates this year and only two of them went onto a second date (and even then, I was rejected after). What's so wrong with me?I would say I'm attractive, I have a lot to offer etc etc.
It's just really getting me down. I can almost predict the man will reject me before I've even met him.
I do keep a positive outlook when I'm on a date but still.... no offers of a second date.
You are not alone! I've lost count of first dates.... sometimes 2nd are suggested but they never come about.Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0 -
Hi all
what dating sites are you using? Sorry for not reading back!! I wonder if any of you have used eharmony? think it is called? I signed up a few months ago but cant message anyone until I pay the fee. Just wondered if anyone had tried it before? Is it any good?
Thanks0 -
Well, this has certainly moved on since I last posted on here!!
My update, still single, not looked at a dating site for well over 2 months now.
Strangely, really happy about life now, even though I under threat of redundancy at work etc. I'm not even bothered about being single.
If it happens it happens.
Not sure what's changed in my head but hey ho.
I'm also thinking of attempting the world record of not eat, just drinking water + vitamins. I believe it stands at 55 days? not sure just looking into it - though my doctor is not sure its wise, he does agree I have enough surplus weight to actually do it safely.0 -

Scotty, I was/am really impressed with your new found attitude... until I read the last few lines of your post.
I don't know what your motivation is to diet but DO NOT starve yourself. Read that paragraph out to yourself constantly until you see the stupidity behind it. If anyone said to you they were going to try and beat the world record for not eating, what would you say to them? I'd say nothing, I'd just smack them.... hard.
Your doctor should be struck off if he did anything less than BEG you not to do it. Your body will go into starvation mode, use the fat to get the energy, you'll lose a ton of weight, and the minute a morsel of food hits your lips your body will grab onto it, afraid of how long it will be til it sees food again, and your weight will fly back up. That is, if you even see that point, because your body might just get super stressed, overwork your heart and kill it.
Sorry if that was blunt. I'm in a very very bad mood today and I haven't got the strength to write the above any more articulately. Very glad you're happy with life at the moment even in the face of adversity... nice things like dates usually come along when you least expect them.OU Student! - ED209, SDK125, DSE212, SK124, DSE141, SD226, DXR222, DD303, DD307 = BSc Psychology0 -
Littlestar, appreciate what your saying - however its not doing this on a whim.
I have my reason, done/doing my research and I am not doing this on my own.0 -

Hi Scotty,
I have done short fasts ie. less than a week. All I am concerned about is that you will be doing this under medical supervision and will stop if you are advised to do so.

Is POF down for anyone else at the moment or just me? It would have to happen when i'm in the middle of mesaging someone
In regards to starving i'm not going to comment cos i don't take my own advice and i'd be a hypocrite to tell you not to do something i myself do. Though at least you have medical backing. Mine are no help what so ever

Hi Scotty.
I'm not in the medical profession so this is entirely my opinion but I think fasting is not the way to go. I'm guessing you're trying to lose weight? Please don't do it this way. Your body will just cling to the food after the fasting as it will go into starvation mode.
I know loads of people say this, but the best way to lose weight is to move more and eat less. It's simple but true.
Good luck.0
