Sometimes you just can't win. I used to date a girl who would moan at me if she didn't get her usual morning text, as it made her feel special that she was the first thin on my mind.Current Debt: 0%.Current House Deposit: 7%.0 -

im just confused by him, and it goes both ways smudger lol. I dont wanna bug him by texting if its not what he wants, but i dont know what he wants anymore.
He was texting me non stop for over 3 weeks, from 8am to 11pm most of the time, then we meet finally both agree we had a great time, continued the texting etc etc but then he seems to go quiet on me. I dont know what i'm supposed to do, he said he wanted to see me again but he doesnt seem to be acting like it anymore.
I actually like the guy, but if he's just playing then what am i supposed to do??0 -

Have you tried not texting him and if so what happens..Sometimes they are cowardly and dont want to meet you again really and are hoping you just give up..Well this is what I have found ..Like it has been said previously just how long does it take to text even if its only to say hi..
I wish people would just text and say look we had a good time but for what ever reason they fancy making up I dont think you are my type I personally would prefer this than the gradual dying out of texts and contact
I had this with the last lady replies about 7 hours later then no replies at all went on for a couple of days until I just couldnt resist texting her to say "you only have to say if you dont want to see me again no problem"
and after a couple of roundabout nonsense texts about being suddenly very busy she said she wasnt ready for a relationship, still not sure if she meant just with me or with any one but hey ho thats life isnt it0 -
Definitely a fine line between being attentive and clingy where texts are concerned. My theory is that they should be used sparingly to make each one feel a bit more special to the recipient. The only time this rule goes out of the window is when you're engaging in a bit of sexy texting, in which case you'll both be wanting to read exactly what the other wants to do to you and return with a similar text ASAP!0

That is the harsh reality I'm afraid. I had a bit if a random text recently telling me that I'm not making things easy. Any man that sends me a stupid text like that, when they could have easily said a courteous "hi, how are you?" is not going to get a response. Why waste my time?Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I tend not to delete numbers - but that is because I like to know who is calling / texting me!
There is a really odd cohort on PoF - I have blocked all those that have contacted me (bearing in mind I only signed up on Sunday) purely on the basis that their emails and profiles have given me cause for concern - including one from an old man in the US who said he would be happy to relocate for me - bonkers! I'm very glad that I haven't put up a mugshot.
