  • I don't know if I'm the norm or not but I don't like 'winks'. In my mind they go in the same rubbish bin as the 'hi there' messages. If you like me, send me a proper message. I do reply to all proper messages though, even if it's to say no thanks. I think that's just polite and I hate not getting replies myself so always send one.

You can go weeks without a reponse and then get 3 messages in one week but not from the person you'd wanted to hear from. And then if you do hear from the person you liked, you don't get on! That's life.

Caught out a liar this week, he said he had no children but I recognised him as my mate's ex and know he has two. She's had a look and confirmed it's him. She's going to speak to him and tell him to get his act together.

You're no failure...you just haven't met the right person yet.
Believe you will and you will but don't get desperate..

    read this:
    http://www.CatchHimKeepHim.com

You have to pay to download the book, but it's worth every penny!!

    5 easy monthly payments of $47.97 !!!!
That's hardly a money saving way of meeting Mr Right!

I am always dubious of these things - if it's so good, why isn't it published like a proper book that you can buy in a bookshop?

Have read lots of those books : Why Men Love !!!!!es, Finding Mr Right etc. etc. etc. None have helped though one or two are a nice read and the authors feel like old friends at the end of them!
  • LOL I haven't downloaded it, got to find one before I worry about catching and keeping him!

I throw quite a lot of the ones I catch back!!!
What are you using for bait?
  • Honesty. If that doesn't work then I don't want them anyway.

Well it has worked for me...I paid £20 for it.
It has changed the way I see myself, the way I react to men, the way I deal with them.....
In fact since reading it I have never had it so good...ok still haven't met Mr Right, but I have had a lot of offers/attention from guys - and the right kind of attention, I might add!
Even when you feel like you have nothing, someone else has far less. Find them and help them. You’ll see why.....

I would warn against using Dan Brown novels as bait. They will not attract the right kind of man.

This thread reminded me of an amusing link:

    http://storify.com/rhodri/your-awful-dates-in-140-characters

We can all relate to some of them.

Thanks for this. Had real date disappointment today via eHarmony, but these have cheered me up somewhat. It's not just me!

I would be interested to hear more about Spice from those that have tried it...

That CatchHimKeepHim site has a poor reputation.
Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
