    finally got bored of being patient and waiting for the guy I've been chatting on line to to ask me out - so I've asked if he fancies going for a coffee oneday soon...!!

    i dont find any dating site serious. All of those i knew are people looking for sex. i think it's rare to meet a really true friend there

    HI everyone ,I'm back. Well, I went to my singles night organised by POF and all I can say is that it was a total waste of £5 plus petrol for me. There wasn't a single man I fancied there.
    What there was , was a massive queue for the bar which went out the door, and lots of groups of people, who once they found thier seat, stayed put all evening. Whats the point of that?
    Still, we have learnt where not to go next time!

    Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

    Have to be honest and say I do agree with you - I would start out having a decent conversation with someone and ultimately it always ended up turning sexual. Whilst I am sure there are many success stories, for me I just got married looking for fun - or men with serious issues.
