Spice, I'm in that just joined and to be fair, its more like a friends thing then dating wise.
That's how some things start though no? And I'd be more than happy to gain a few extra friends, but again it's not very MSE when you have to pay a quarterly fee and still pay for the events. Does look pretty good though!OU Student! - ED209, SDK125, DSE212, SK124, DSE141, SD226, DXR222, DD303, DD307 = BSc Psychology0 -

I joined Spice, but didnt stay a member for long...couldnt afford it!
I wasnt impressed with it, especially as the nearest meeting for me is over 12 miles away....Even when you feel like you have nothing, someone else has far less. Find them and help them. You’ll see why.....0 -

Very true lass it does.
Its not very mse, and to be fair sometimes the cost does hold people back.
I've done a few events and its actually good fun0 -
Thanks for this. Had real date disappointment today via eHarmony, but these have cheered me up somewhat. It's not just me!
I would be interested to hear more about Spice from those that have tried it...
My Dad joined Datingdirect and met his lady (been together for 2 years now) on there.
He is now (an active)72 yr old and she is in her late 60's.
They get on like a house on fire!
They go out for days, weekends, caravanning (my dad has his own tourer), stay together at weekends in each-others places etc etc
They support each-other - attend Drs and hospital appointments together.
When they are apart my Dad looks lost and lives for seeing her again!
Aww!Even when you feel like you have nothing, someone else has far less. Find them and help them. You’ll see why.....0 -

Start your own social/activity club!
I have..it's called Time Out..only got 6 members so far, but we share the cost of travel and get group discounts on some things...
I don't charge a membership fee of any sorts.Even when you feel like you have nothing, someone else has far less. Find them and help them. You’ll see why.....0 -
5 easy monthly payments of $47.97 !!!!
That's hardly a money saving way of meeting Mr Right!
I am always dubious of these things - if it's so good, why isn't it published like a proper book that you can buy in a bookshop?
Have read lots of those books : Why Men Love !!!!!es, Finding Mr Right etc. etc. etc. None have helped though one or two are a nice read and the authors feel like old friends at the end of them!
I didnt have to pay each month...i paid a one-of fee of £20 :-/Even when you feel like you have nothing, someone else has far less. Find them and help them. You’ll see why.....0 -
Cracking Idea!!!
Thank you Scottie...it was because of Spice that drove me to start my own group.
I use free sites and libraries etc to advertise.
I now have some really lovely, genuine members!Even when you feel like you have nothing, someone else has far less. Find them and help them. You’ll see why.....0
