You are incorrect, read the ebay hold notice again.

  • Not wrong,i have just started selling on ebay and rang paypal. She said if i'd sent tracking i would have got money but because i didnt i have to wait .Have also recieved possitive feedback.
  • As you're a new eBay seller, we'll temporarily hold the payment from each of your eBay transactions for up to 21 days. You'll then be able to access your money, providing you've posted the item to the address stated on the transaction details page and your buyer hasn't reported any problems.

Buy an eBay or PayPal postage label. After you've paid for your label, the amount you paid for postage will be released from your pending balance.

You may be able to access your money sooner if you:

Post the item with trackable postage such as Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery
Provide proof of postage and email tracking information to your buyer

    Soolin is correct
    28. How will I know that my payment is being held
Payments that are held will be shown as "pending" in your PayPal balance. PayPal will send an email notifying you when the hold is released. PayPal Money Market Fund customers will continue to receive dividends on amounts that are being held in your account.
    29. When will PayPal release the eBay item hold?
PayPal will release the hold when the earliest of the following occurs:

    the buyer leaves positive feedback,
3 days after confirmed item delivery* or
21 days without a dispute, claim, chargeback, or reversal filed on that transaction.

PayPal can confirm delivery. PayPal will confirm delivery if you use USPS, UPS, or FedEx to ship the item and (i) use PayPal shipping labels, or (ii) upload tracking information to PayPal via the transaction details page. This applies to US domestic transactions only.

Well done, it often pays to be persistent with ebay and paypal.
