    Meh, I have lost patience... I have emailed the CEO with a neatly numbered list of issues I'm having - you know, small things, like my card being refused for online payment and getting the "you have failed to make a payment" message despite the full amount going by DD and a few others.

    well, both my new cards were added to my existing mybarclaycard account yesterday so all 3 were there and running fine.

    since last night and currently though all i am getting once i have added all my login details is:
    System Error
    We're sorry there was a problem - we were unable to process your request and as a precaution you have been logged out. Please log back in to continue using mybarclaycard.

    anyone else?
  • I just activated my card and logged in sucessfully and apart from I can't change my address as its 11-12 such and such street as I recently moved which barclays knew of as they sent all the info to the new address everything looks ok. Tbh I quite like the new look seems a bit easier to navigate to me
  • I have read this thread with interest. I think I have most of the issues mentioned so far:-

    1 - Egg Money and Egg Card replacement cards are not showing up on my existing MyBarclaycard login (for my pre-existing B'Card Mastercard). Neither does my pre-existing (20-year-old) B'Card Visa account mind you. I don't normally use my Barclaycards, there's no reason to - they have poor rates and benefits and too many little foibles to catch you out with payment dates etc.
    2 - as directed by the Barclays website, I created a new login (using new B'card World M'Card card details).
    3 - B'card World card details now show up in new login, no sign of the new B'Card Visa account though. Am I going to end up with 4 separate logins?
    4 - B'Card World account shows a balance which looks about right but everything else is wrong. It says "you've not made the minimum payment" against my last statement even although (a) I paid it in full by the due date, which I saw on the old Egg site had gone through fine on 1 November, and (b) it shows the miminum payment due as Zero anyway!
    5 - Due to the above it says interest will be due. It better not be!
    6 - It says I've not made any transactions since the last statement date. I know for a fact that I've made about 15 during the 25 days or so since my last statement date, which were all showing fine on the old Egg site last week.
    7 - When I try clicking on the button for a list of transactions, it opens a page with an error message and logs me out.
    8 - I don't think the cashback total is correct, it lists last month's and then a total which looks more like the accrued amount excluding last month's.

    Not very happy at all. Will leave it another day or two to see if they sort the teething problems. Don't like their website much though - it's much less clear to read than the old Egg one due to the amount of useless eye candy and hiding away information via lots of different tabs and links. They're probably about to lose 4 accounts (one very active and three very inactive ones)!

    I wonder if they thought that the Egg acquisition would drive away existing customers as well as fail to deliver the new ones? Might do wonders for their capital ratios if not their profits!

  • Well I've now spoken to two very pleasant chaps from the call centre. Unfortunately, despite them giving me a 9 digit user number and resetting my passcode numbers twice, I still can't get access to my account.

    The second chap admitted that they were having some issues with their website and suggested I try at the weekend. It's only Tuesday now!

    It's not really good enough, given the issue I had yesterday where it was falsely stating that I hadn't made a minimum payment for October, when I have in fact paid in full by direct debit. The e-mail I got this morning about my statement says the balance is slightly higher than I was anticipating - does this mean they have added interest and/or penalty charges because of their error with the October payment ? I don't know because I can't get access to check. :mad:

    Yep, apparently there are issues with the entire website...very nice chap told me it should be fixed by 15th Nov :eek::mad:

    I phoned BC and advised still unable to view the account with the rest of the BC accounts. The advisor said they are have technical problems and to leave it for 72 hrs and try then to view the account.

    My cashback to date was showing correctly, but now my statement has been raised the total has been changed to the amount on the current statement

    I thought I was the only one having problems trying to log in! Keep getting the following message:

    "System Error We're sorry there was a problem - we were unable to process your request and as a precaution you have been logged out. Please log back in to continue using mybarclaycard."

    Same on my account direct debit went on the 1st November, but not showing at Barclaycard. No recent transactions either.

    Any time I click on anything the site throws me out.

    Overall Barclaycard is rubbish but they owe me £110 cash back so I will have to stick with them otherwise I would cancel the card today.:mad::mad::mad::mad:
