Egg to Barclaycard Transition Update

I got an e-mail about my statement this morning too. However, I've tried logging in several times this morning and after taking my memorable word it fails and logs me out, so no idea if they have resolved the issue with saying I hadn't made a payment last month or not showing me any October transactions. Not impressed.0

Me too, exactly that.
Phoned - and waited - and eventually they said it was my browser and to clear cookies, cache, etc. Did that and could log back in, but chucked out again when I tried to check recent spending. It's clearly not my browser, so am annoyed that's what I was told.
When I got through to Customer Services, they say they know the issues and are working them out. But I did check with them that my last payment on 27th October had gone through, and BC say that it has done. Will be very cross if charged interest.
Why don't they post something to let people know they have problems.
An absolute shambles and Barclaycard should be ashamed.0 -
My DD which was taken from my bank yesterday appears to have been credited to my new BC online although it is not showing in the recent transactions pane.
I also sent £20 yesterday by faster payment from my bank just in case (to cover minimum) and to also check functionality. Not sure if this has been applied yet though - will need to wait until BC get the recent transactions updated.
Also changed PIN yesterday evening without any problems and got a text at about 1730 to say that my card was activated and ready to go.Regards, Robin.2011 MFW # 34
Mortgage starting balance at Sept 09 - £127,224 on 30 year term. Currently balance approx £116,945 (Updated Jan '12)

So did I, except that when I tried to use it for an online purchase a few hours later, the card was declined...
oh and I also have the "you've failed to make a payment" message showing - my DD went out yesterday... I'm going to start losing patience fairly soon :rotfl:Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
Hi,
Everything seems okay here so far. I changed both my card and OH's pin number (I'm the account holder, OH is the guest).
I did try to change his number first and it wouldn't accept that. That was my mistake, so I put mine in first then his.
I've used my Barclaycard since with no problems.
I can log into MyBarclaycard okay, its abit different which its bound to be, but seems okay.
The direct debit still says it will collect the full amount, but I shall keep an eye on that to make sure it does.
Someone said about the cashback, if the person comes back, the cashback is carrying on. I know we've all said as much, but just wanted to say.0 -
Its starting to get annoying now. I've spoken to BC and they said they are aware of the technical error about viewing recent transactions and I should try again in 24 or 48 hrs.
The problem I've got is only use my CC whilst shopping online then I pay the amount straight off my CC with the Barclays DC but BC are not excepting payments and barclays online banking do not reconise my BC because its a mastercard starting with 5363!0 -

I've now managed to make a payment via telephone banking and was told because it's a Barclaycard Mastercard and not a Barclaycard Visa the payment will take 3 days instead of the 1.
Can this be correct?0 -

Got the same problems with recent transactions not showing and my payment/statement dates seem to have been imported wrong!!
On the plus side just bought some house insurance and it wouldnt go through as a credit card the guy had to process it as a debit card saving me the £5 fee they were going to chargeHe tried it 3 times and each time the error said the number was wrong for the card type (credit car

Looks like they've fixed the problem where people were logged out if they clicked on the "Recent Transactions" button if there were no recent transactions to display. They now have a notice stating:You have not made any transactions since your last statement.and no button.
It makes you wonder how well they tested the system before letting customers get their hands on it.Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??
