Egg to Barclaycard Transition Update

Just gone in and checked everything: User friendly site 9/10 with nice graphics too (9/10). Cash back is running and a balance is showing. (10/10)
My old Egg Money card balance is OK but missing the most recent transactions for the weekend (9.5/10). Even the DD to pay off the card in full was already set up too. (11/10)
So, all OK except they had my OH's D of B as 1 January 1810. (0/10) So I rang up on 0800 917 7277 and their CS guy (in the Philippines, would you believe!) has just modernised her a tadge for me. (10/10)
Off now to give it a whirl at Tesco, where I will also change the PIN too.
They think my OH is over 200 years old as well0 -
I actually like the new Barclaycard web site. Slightly over-engineered in places, but still quite usable, and quick to respond, despite the probable high demand at the moment.
I'm quite impressed they've transferred all the transaction history over, too. Wasn't expecting that.
Changed the PIN today, but haven't used the new card yet.
All-in-all, experience is positive so far.0 -
I just created an account for mybarclaycard and now when I log in I get this:

We're sorry there was a problem - we were unable to process your request and as a precaution you have been logged out. Please log back in to continue using mybarclaycard.

on 0844 556 0105 (+44 1452 828 001 when calling from abroad)
between 8am and 10pm, 7 days a week. "

Registering for Barclaycard Secure went wrong on the first occasion (can't connect to server), but was successful on the second attempt.0

Logged onto to mybarclaycard today and can still only see my old barclaycard, not the new (egg) one. I'm presuming they'll work out the kinks over the next few days.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Having problems setting up Barclaycard Secure - I'll try again tomorrow or in a few days.
I also have another slight issue in that my first name is long (hyphenated!) and whilst Egg accepted the full length, when I checked my personal details on My Barclaycard, they've cut a few letters off the end - I guess they have a limit on the number of characters :rotfl: I've sent them a secure message asking them to change my first name to just the part before the hyphen, I'll see how long that takes.
My DD left my current account today showing as payment to Egg...hope it finds its way to Barclaycard with no issues...Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
