Egg to Barclaycard Transition Update

I can't use the new Barclaycard World card on sites that use "MasterCard SecureCode".

Has anyone successfully registered SecureCode? Not working for me. Something about details not matching up.

This is more a rant directed at first direct - I want to make a faster payment to barcalycard ex egg. First direct won't let me type in the payee details as they have it set up as a company payee but on searching none of the 'barcalycard' options listed match a world mastercard and you can not see what the actual sort code and account number details are for each of the eight barclaycard entries so I have no idea which one to use. No doubt I could probably sort this with a phone call but that rather negates the reason for online banking.

I successfully registered my new BC this morning yes. Not used it yet though to buy anything.

Well, I've registered BUT there are no recent transactions and I have an empty statement for the 5th November. So I'm missing off a months worth of transactions. This is a pain in the rear because the balance is correct but there is no cashback added for that month.

I've been on the line with Barclaycard India and they are going to "Call me back".

Booo.

Always remember 7/11. The day Egg Money died.

In the letter I received from BC advised I will not be able to view my account until the 8 November. No doubt everyone else would be advised of what date they can view their account but as usual no one bothers reading the small print.

How wonderful Barclaycard use an Indian Call Centre !!! and I got into a loop...

I bought something on my Egg card last week which I will be returning to the shop this week, would I be correct in thinking that I will need to give them my new Barclaycard to put the refund on as my Egg card just won't work at all now.

I just hope they don't notice its a different card number on my receipt!

For those that already have a Barclaycard - when you get your annual cashback how is it credited? To your bank account or off the Barclaybarc bill. My money is due in 3 day


Also, on the main issue... Still no Barclay-Egg added, only my original BC.
