i had the same thing in mind.
so basically, i just applied for an egg saving account, and got approved immediately. ok, i had to put in £1, but i get paid 2.6% interest on it, and save myself the hassle of moving all my accounts to some other "money manager". priceless0 -
Might be because mine isn't due until 28th Nov?0 -
Do Barclaycard have the same clause for no positive balances?
I am not aware of ANY credit cards that accept positive balances.
A small amount in credit tends to not trigger any money laundering checks so it will just sit there until you spend it or ask for it back.
Credit balances are not insured so if your card is used fraudulently you may well not be covered, which won't be a big issue if you only mean a few pounds.
So chances are it will just sit there.
If it's a large amount then they tend to get returned because there are obligations to clamp down on money laundering etc. but people make mistakes with small amounts all the time so it will probably trigger no alarm bells and nothing will happen with it - proabably.0 -
I have just checked my new BC and it is now valid from 9/11 and yet I am advised the Egg card will no longer be valid from the 7/11. Very strange!0

Same here, opted out. Received nothing at all. Just one message back in May... I don't have a barclaycard since my account is suspended due to rejecting the hike..
Hi Esoog, I finally received a letter from Barclaycard this morning with an account number and details of how to access my account online. Hourray! I've also got a date (Friday) from which they want me to access the account as the first few days are going to be busy. I'm relieved as I really prefer managing my accounts online, and hopefully I will be able to make all the little payments I was making with Egg.LBM: August 2006 £12,568.49 - DFD 22nd March 2012

Thank you, I think il do this, I have a lot of accounts on Egg both mine and OH, it would be a nightmare moving them all and searching for the passwords and log on details.0 -
i thought i had already read about what i'm about to ask but now cant find any reference to it...
has it been announced what happens if you already have a card with barclaycard and already use "mybarclaycard" online?
are they automatically adding our new visa and MC to that or are we being given the option to add, on registration of the new cards?
or are we effectively having 2 logins to "mybarclaycard"?
thanks.0 -
If you're already a Barclaycard customer and registered for mybarclaycard your new Barclaycard will automatically appear in your account details on 7th November 2011.0
