No idea what is going on now, for some reason I have been sent a HP Pre3 accessory bundle... are they giving me this for free? Or has there been a mistake?

I wish I could invent a battery that runs for as long as a mobiles.co.uk thread. I'd be a millionaire. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've been Money Tipped!
Looks like the mess is getting a little more tangled - not really a bad thing as being less clear can certainly help.
Doesn't really explain when/what the 12th/18th month is. Is it the contract month or Mobiles.co.uk's 12 month (taking the silly month "ZERO" into account)??
Will it be based on the Gregorian Calendar or will we need a Mobiles.co.uk calendar converter??

I phoned mobiles.co.uk and they told me I need to send bills for months March, May, July, September. When I said that I wasn't expecting a bill in September, they said that I should receive a final bill from Vodafone.

Hello Eildor,

Sorry for the confusion that the Cashback table has caused. In your case we would simply require your final bill from the network operator. So this would be your month 11 bill by our numbering system. We will be updating the table to try and make this clearer for future customers. If you would like to e-mail your order number to twitter@mobiles.co.uk then we will send you a specific list of which months bills we require.

Kind Regards

Mobiles.co.uk

I have been told again that you will require bills for March, May, July, September.

The issue I have is this: My contract started in September, and I have already received my September bill (Vodafone bill 1 month in advance), and therefore my last bill will be in August. So I am confused as to what is meant by "final bill" -- please clarify. I have contacted Vodafone and they have told me that I will receive a total of 12 bills... the first being in September, the last being in August.

Yep. You don't get a final bill after the contract has ended with Vodafone unless you exceed your bundle or over-run the term (something I NEVER do) - despite the usual mis-advice of some others on here.

The new wording actually makes which bill you now need for the final claim (I also NEVER count bill "numbers") despite the fact they can't spell "receive" and it is still contradactory as regards to which months you should send your interim claims in. In your case there is the additional issue that the t&c have changed since you took your contract out - so, in fact, it is the original mess you are actually stuck with in a court of law.

I am timing my new contracts with this dealer to avoid the obvious (to those who can understand basic English - it's quite plain a few can't) ambiguity and contradictions of the t&c - which still remain apart from the "final" bill, which - although confusing people - is actually clear cut now. A pity the rest isnt - or that they changed perfectly clear and UNambiguous t&c in the first place. Again, there can be only one true reason why they did this. As Lynsey said, all they had to do was replicate E2Save's current t&c (without tinkering with them) OR use the crystal clear ones they had until they thought they'd be clever.

This is getting boring now... I'll just inform Vodafone of cancellation 25 days before the contract ends instead of 30. At least that way I will (apparently...) receive a final bill. Since the cashback is £80 odd I can't afford to mess around.

But I'd rather mobiles.co.uk give a proper solution which is going to convince me that I should use them again in the future.

Hi Eildor,
The problem is regardless of whether Ben bothers to answer on here ...He read the thread on the afternoon of the 20th and didn't comment...you need to get it in writing from them direct ;)
Even if he was to give you instruction it is only a public forum and would count for zilch in court which you may end up having to do as others have had to.

So how does that work ...does it mean you will pay 5 days on top of your contract rental
It's not just about the money

They will bill me for the 5 days and it would trigger another bill... Or at least I think it should.
