MSE News: Ryanair 'sticks two fingers up at passengers' with new card fees

Don't know and don't care since I don't fly to Rimini.(There are other carriers that fly to Italy though i assume) Where I do fly too, there are choices. I choose not to fly with Ryanair.
Why do Ryanair fans have such a problem with people who won't fly with Ryanair ?
Or do the company trawl these boards and make these posts?
No I dont work for RA, the reason we have such a problem is because you book numerous flights for lets say under £20 across Europe and the people that dont use RA say those flights dont exist when they quite clearly do and their reasons for not using RA are nonsensical , such as the uniform or they dont get an in flight meal.
The bottom line is this, people are getting hung up on the details. If you fly to Spain for £18 as above does it matter what that rock bottom fare is made up of, for me I could not care less if the actual £18 fare was made up of lets say £2 to look out the window, £10 to book online, £5 to use a credit card and the fare was advertised at £1.
Is it annoying that you have to jump through a few hoops eh a little, but I know for a fact as soon as I long on to RA I can without effort fly to a huge selection of places all over Europe for less than £20 so long as Im using my backpack as well as the fact there are many fares with free online check in.
Im off to book a cheap flight now, while some off the naysayers squabble over principles and economics.0 -

Not true. I have no doubt that such fares exist. If you can and are happy to take advantage then good luck to you.
However I need to take hold luggage, and I don't want to fly to some of the far flung/ obscure destinations.Ryanair is not family friendly. Light travelling couples and singles are who can take get these fares.
To answer you question where I do fly to . Our last flight was Alicante. Pricing up Via various sites : Ryanair came out cheapest, until you factor in hold luggage and car seats and pushchairs. Then the difference was not that much. Monarch got our custom and a very pleasant hassle free journey it was as well.
Other example : Cork . I choose Aer lingus for £10 extra . worth every penny.
Could not care less about uniforms or in flight meals. But I do have a problem with being treated with contempt . And how Ryanair treat their staff.
I would also never buy a Silentnight bed ...no matter how cheap. I also do not shop at Asda/ Walmart. Or buy clothes from Primark.Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
For example London Rome October 5th Morning Flight Cheapest fare,
Alitalia 06:00 Departure £111.43
Ryanair 06.10 Departure £ 20.990 -
Stansted to Girona (Barcelona coach waits outside terminal) £18 return TOTAL in Oct.0

I usually sit in Row 1 facing the flight attendants, they are always very pleasant to me.0 -

No doubt. Not everyone who works there is a relative of Mr O'Leary I assume. You can usually tell by seeing if they have hoofs.Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0
