I dont think that ryanair will be allowed to advertise their 9euro fares on the european pages if european ryanair euro mastercards are not available in that country.
Until ALL the different country ryanair sites have a ryanair euro card you should be ok to keep using a fairfx euro card.

I use a FairFx euro card registered in uk for all my spanish ryanair bookings but these are classed as spanish bookings even tho i return from the uk.
EU law states that the low price advertised MUST be obtainable,so until there is a euro ryanair mastercard i think my FairFx will be accepted

You are joking, aren't you? Since when did Ryanair concern itself with what the EU has to say? :D
  • The NEW Ryanair card doesn't seem to get a mention on the French Ryanair 'News' page so what happens if you book through that site with a Fairfx card I wonder.
  • Im a bit hacked off with this new card carry on to be honest. The whole website is a mess these days also. Ive got to use the "Irish Version" to see more than 1 flight at a time which is pretty stupid. Now I need to bin my "escape card" and take out their one, just to avoid the fees.

But I will. As long as they are cheaper overall, Ill put up with it.

I knew i would be in trouble for saying that!........but it is true.........9 euro flights when offered, can be found with no check in fee and no £2 ash cloud, and when you get to card details there must be one free one..........if you are using a "foreign site" then there must be a valid free card available to use if no ryanair card is available.

  • With the new Ryanair pre-paid card lauched Oct 4th - READ THE SMALL PRINT on their new card page - you can only top up £100 each time and the said '£6.00' saving per flight IS CHARGED on the onset, but REFUNDED in VOUCHERS. Vouchers means Ryan Air vouchers that have to be spent to the full as NO REFUND is given - eg. Flight costing £20.99 you would have to cash in the nearest to that in vouchers - £25 and LOSS £4.01. So who's been fleeced here - us again. This card is not what it seems, READ the VOUCHER details on their home page.

Maybe St Michael's two fingers are just for the UK. The French wouldn't understand two fingers anyway, they don't teach about their military defeats in schools there, well there wouldn't be time for them all would there.:D

You are getting confused..........the "voucher" you will get for buying the ryanair mastercard is NOTHING to do with the £25 vouchers already in existence............this will be £6 off the price when you book a flight.
