By having some principles, I suppose.

Only a fool would pay three times as much for the same thing.

Ryanair hit back by comparing Lewis to Pineapple Dance Studio's TV mincer Louie.
Spokesman Stephen McNamara said: "This year 75million true money-saving experts will fly on Ryanair's unbeatable low fares.
"We urge UK passengers to get a Ryanair Cash Passport to save even more."
  • 4 years ago i was left stranded in Salzburg at 11pm with no accommodation in the pouring rain (and then a 6 month battle to get them to reimburse my expenses). I vowed never to fly Ryanair again and stuck to this. Pay peanuts, get monkeys, but now it's gold-plated peanuts!

After the ash cloud situation and a few weeks runaround from ryan air. I took them to court in Dublin, I received my hotel and living costs and my Air fare was returned. Very easy process and all it costs is 15 euros.
Its the only way Ryanair will honour their committments. They want us to follow their rules but they are not too keen on following others.

The answer is simple you treat Ryanair with the contempt Michael O'leary treats his passengers with -DONT FLY WITH THEM

I have used this dreadful airline but wouldn't now use them if they were the last airline on the planet. Their prices once you include all the extras can be extremely high.

It really does pay to compare with what I always think of as a real airline like British Airways where what you see is what you pay, you can check bags in, you get a snack and drink and the staff always look the part unlike the Ryanair crew, who's uniforms look like they came from a jumble sale! - ok it maybe a little more but as they say you get what you pay for!

I agree don't fly with Ryanair then there will be more cheap flights for me :D
  • Bob, you need to change your story !

Well its your location details I now respectfully object to - you risk misleading the great unwashed - and you wouldn't want me to describe you as an unfair commercial practice would you? :p

You need to come clean - you haven't been mile high with a Ryanair stewardess for 1p for a couple of years now, have you?

Come on now, admit it - when was the last time? Surely you must be absolutely crying out for it by now ;)
  • I live in Spain and don't have a UK address. I therefore am not able to get the prepaid card. So that leaves me with NO CHOICE! as one of the requirements to get the relevant card is to be a UK resident.
What does the Office of Fair Trading think about that?

Thanks for that and I have done so, a whole 8 euros now (inc all taxes & charges) to fly from the south of France to the UK - that's 8 Litres of wine
When you see that the bus from Bristol airport into the city centre is nearly 7 euros (£6) it shows what plonkers some of these people who complain really are
there are still £6 Ryanair flights inc all taxes & charges.

So can you explain what a "UK booking", that Ryanair mentions on their website, is? I live in Poland and of course I won't be able to get the Ryanair Cash Passport until it rolls out in Poland (which I think it will never do). So what will happen if I'd book a return flight for one person after 1/11/11? Let's say Krakow -> Liverpool -> Krakow? Will I pay £6 fee on the return flight as it's a flight from the UK? Is that an "UK booking"?
