Well apparently its as bad as applying for a mortgage according to an earlier post haha

What should I expect? As many people have said different things. I just worry they will hate me.

They will be grr at me. someone said they will think I might hurt their daughter.

You've done nothing wrong, they have no reason to hate you!!
I think that person just meant emotionally, but I don't think they will at all. It's not as if you're going to ask her dad if you can marry her or that she's pregnant. Calm down, it will be fine.

I think hubby went to Bolton met, this was in the late 80's though.

Well I am "moving in" on their daughter maybe they will want to suss me find out what I am, What if I aint good enough? What if they say they want me to travel there as they dont want her coming due to distance.

Why can't I calm down? I'm scared of the whole meet

She's old enough to make up her own mind regarding the travel.

Talk to her more and tell her you're really worried. I'm sure she'll make you feel a bit less worried.

Calm down:D There is no reason for them to hate you or have any kind of opinion about you if they have not met you:D

A stranger is just a person you have not met yet, go in, smile, be happy and chatty and what is there not to like? Be polite that is all they want, you are you and you will do just fine:D

I know I am just scared that they will. As they will see me as taking their daughter off them sort of thing.

I just panic. I said I would take them to a resturant at the meet. Is that a bad idea?
