Sorry. I didn't mean it that they think you're going to hurt her.:o I just meant that they just want to make sure. This will be the first time they've ever met you but don't go and be worrying about it all. Just take things as they come.

You come across as a lovely guy and if you're just like you come across on here then I'm sure they'll adore you.

The reason they probably don't want her travelling to you is because they're probably worried about her travelling on her own such a long distance.

I'm worried now. Ive never done the meet the parents thing, Its scary and if they think bad

I know its a long way, I've said I don't mind going down there but she insists on coming up

Stop worrying! I know it's easier said than done but you'll meet them and wonder why you worried yourself silly over it.

The anticipation is always worse than the actual doing.

I was terrified before I met DH's parents. Met them and then had no idea what I was worrying about!

I worry as I think what do they know about me/think about me etc.

I'll treat their daughter with the upmost respect. I do just worry however

Glad you had a good weekend.
I don't think you have anything to worry about, you sound lovely.
If you are worried, maybe ask her what her parents are like ie strict, easy going, things not to talk about.

When are you going to meet them?

I go down a week on Monday at 4am, I will be meeting them after work at 5:30pm

She tells me they are laid back but strict on certain things.

Her dad apparently doesn't like Mancs, So I'm screwed haha, but I do love her I hope he will see that

Apparently we can't be trusted and he doesn't like us in general. Bad experience I guess. Hope he see's I love his daughter

She apparently finds me and my accent hot (Apparently I have a slightly different manc accent)
