  • Yes-I have discovered the £74.95 payment on my account statement today! In the terms and conditions, it does state that you have to cancel within 12 days, but I did not receive the product until at least 15 days after I ordered it. Also-they seeem like full size jars of cream and not samples? The website clearly states sample bottles.
Did anyone who received a refund have to return the products? I have e-mailed them tonight and am worried that they'll take more money. I cannot afford this.
  • I to have been caught out by this scam. My bank called today to let me know that three amounts had been taken out £74.95, £51 and £79.99, however I did get three products.

I am desperate to cancel this tonight, can someone please give me the e-mail address, telephone number anything to try and retrieve my money.

Any help would be grately appreciated.

    Thanks
  • I got a full refund and didn't have to return the products, although I have not used them yet just in case they demand them back. I emailed quoting the details below and received a refund within 5 days. I suggest anyone else who has been caught out do the same.

    My email included the following:
'Your website promises a 'Money Back 100% Guarantee 30 day money back guarantee. Furthermore, I am aware that the ASA has stated on 7th December 2011 your advertisement breached CAP Code (Edition 12) rules 3.1, 3.3 (Misleading advertising) 3.7 (Substantiation) and 3.38 (Other Comparisons)
In respect of the above would you confirm you will refund these amounts as soon as possible. If I do not receive this confirmation and the refund of both amounts as detailed, I will have no alternative but to report you once again to the ASA as well as the Trading Standards and the Fraud Department of my credit card company.'

Good luck to everyone in getting their money back - keep emailing them and don't give up. I also cancelled my credit card as they did try to take some more money but as I had cancelled my card they were unable to do so.
  • Another similar product that operates the same way and is possibly the same company, is for a product called Revivagenix pro collegan and Hydroxatone AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex.

My bank has acted responsibly and credited my payments back to me while carrying out an investigation into this company. However, many different companies seem to be involved. Billing agent was for one called Instforhealth.com for which there has been lots of similar complaints in the States.
  • Hi, I'm new to this site so I hope I do this right!
I have recently been duped by this Thursday last week and I'm thoroughly kicking myself for being so stupid. I'm usually so good at checking terms and conditions. Does anybody know where the phone number is based? Is it a UK phone number, I see their address is but don't want to pay to phone halfway around the world.
My quick resolution to this is to get my current card I used for payment stopped and cancelled by the bank and a new card issued as the details will be different but will check with the bank that this is the case.
  • Ok, I have checked further through the forums and found the answers to my questions. Thanks everyone!
I do not want to go through the hassle of emailing or phoning a company where the numbers may not exist or they don't respond to my emails so have called my bank and explained the situation. Apparently, the 4th customer today about this company. They have cancelled my card and issued me with a new one preventing any further payments!
I've noticed the just under £6 has come out already but they'll get no more money from me, I don't even want to receive these products now!
I'm just so incredibly glad that forums like this exist :)
  • After receiving my £2 samples this is how my statement looks today, I am gutted and trying to cancel my credit card as I think this is the only way to stop this scam company taking money from me. I did check out the website etc and it was reviewed by BBC and newspapers so thought it would be ok, looks like they have conned everyone and still are, they must be raking in a fortune world-wide!

  • Channel 5 News would like to hear from anyone who thought they were signing up to a free trial for Revitaderm or Perfect Radiance..or any other prodcuct for that matter! We want to film with a case study tomorrow morning and can pay £75 for your time..please call Jacqui Fuller at 5 News as soon as possible and I can give you some more information about how this would work.
  • I also fell for this although I am normally super cautious. It's interesting that almost all of us thought we were receiving free samples - but in fact the trial product was the full size. My credit card (Amazon) was stung for over £200 but MBNA say that Mastercard and Visa have had a meeting and decided that Agios Dometio are not actually doing anything illegal. Also of course they fall outside UK Trading Standards and Advertising rules. MBNA are not therefore prepared to refund any money (some lucky Halifax customers fared better). I asked why, as they were obviously aware of the scam, they had not alerted me after the payment for the 'trial' went thorough but they told me they could not do this as they could be sued by the supplier! They did put my call through to AD's customer service line where I was eventually (after waiting 45 minutes) able to cancel any future deliveries and have had emails confirming this. MBNA have assured me that if they try to take any more money they will not succeed. Meanwhile, I who am normally expert at recovering money, for some reason failed to check my card online with the result that by the time I was aware of the problem 30 days had already elapsed. However the product has irritated my skin (I have rosacea) so I could still complain but do not entertain much hope of a refund. Their CS rep simply said that as I had used the product I could not return it. Well done to all of you who succeeded. Any advice gratefully received.
  • I fell for this like all you others but realised very quickley, to cut a long story short, my bank told me to close my account and reopen another as this was the only way to stop them taking money. Bit of a clart but I did that and all is ok.

However, my items did turn up and I used them for two weeks I now have, BURNING LARGE RAISED RED ITCHY PATCHES ON MY NECK WHICH HAVE BEEN THERE FOR 6 WEEKS AND I CANNOT GET RID OF THEM, AM OFF TO THE DOCTOR TOMORROW.

Be careful of this product !!!!
