  • Well. just in case this is helpful to anyone - I only got envolved because Perfect Radiance rang me and said they would send me the product all I had to do was to pay £2.95 p & p in the same phone call
I changed my mind by this time it was too late they had my card no, my son argued with them (in the same telephone conversation) - he is at uni doing Law, anyway the floor Manager by then said I would
receive a refund and to call a number if I didn't. Christmas came and went still they did not refund my money. The product turned up in the post - I immediately rang my bank told them to cancel my card and
then asked them to look in to it. My bank have since credited me with the £2.95 - I telephoned the company - the lady told me she would cancel any further transactions from my account and I demanded an
email to confirm. Hoping and keeping everything crossed that this works, but it seem to me to report it to your bank's disputes dept is the thing to do. Hope this helps x
  • I have just spoken to an American lady on 0808 168 3685 who has promised to send me a cancellation email with three codes...so yes they are the same company. Nothing about getting my money back but if they just stop taking any more that will be something. My bank werent at all helpful and just said that I had an agreement with the company. So now I'm thinking that I might need to change my bank acount. Joy. Another load of hassle! i will let you know if I get the email and if it stops it.
  • I have received two emails saying I will be refunded my £74.99 and £79.99 and both payments should be in my account within 7 to 10 days which I hope and pray they will......But like other people have said I don't think it should end here, these people should not be allowed to continue to take money from unsuspecting innocent people to me it's wrong and against the law or it should be. I think we have to be the voice for hundreds, if not thousands of people out there who can't use the Internet or just don't know how to go about getting their money back, this seems like its been going on for a long time and by the posts I'm reading it is still going on. I too will contact watchdog and any newspapers I can think of, the more of us that do this the more likely something
will be done. We should use this forum as a place to come back to and let each other know how we got on and to also help other people get their money back, I haven't been able to sleep since this has happened and I'd like to think we can stop it happening to anyone else......
  • PERFECT RADIANCE ADMITS THAT THEY HAVE A REFUND POLICY !!!!!

I have found the following from the Advertising Standard Authority (ASA) website which makes interesting reading and may help a few people.

If you go on the ASA website and click on Adjudications (right hand side) and type in Perfect Radiance, you will see the entire text.

Two quotes from the above ASA Adjudication :

    Response

    1. Perfect Radiance said that they had a very liberal cancellation policy and allowed customers that wanted to cancel within the trial period to do so. They provided the e-mail addresses of four customers that had cancelled their orders within the trial period and four customers that had received refunds.

    Assessment

    1. Upheld
We noted Perfect Radiance said they had a very liberal cancellation policy and that the terms and conditions stated that orders could be cancelled within the 12 day trial period. We also noted the complainants had attempted to cancel their orders by telephone and via e-mail within the trial period but neither method had been successful. We noted the e-mail that the complainants received stated they would be charged within ten days and that delivery would take between seven to ten business days, which was different to the details stated in the terms and conditions. Because Perfect Radiance did not provide adequate evidence to demonstrate that a mechanism was in place to enable customers to cancel orders before the end of the trial period and avoid substantial additional charges, we concluded that the ad was misleading.

On this point the ad breached CAP Code (Edition 12) rules 3.1, 3.3 (Misleading advertising) and 3.7 (Substantiation).

Mods: Apologies if I have breached Forum Rules with the above - am new to all this.
  • I note however that Perfect Radiance have ignored the ASA ruling and have not amended their ads/website despite the ASA ruling that "The ad must not appear again in its current form".
    http://www.asa.org.uk/ASA-action/Adjudications/2011/12/Perfect-Radiance/SHP_ADJ_171089.aspx

Which does make you question the point of the ASA - as they have no power whatsoever to impose any penalties or punishment on rogue advertisers, all they can do is make "rulings" which are then totally ignored by unethical advertisers.

best of everything; they just make the best
of everything that comes along their way."

We have managed to contact them this morning and have been given cancellation codes to confirm that they will no longer send the product - can anyone confirm that this is true for them or give further information to reassure me that the item is definitely cancelled?

Yes I got my cancellation numbers for both yesterday by phone and this morning I received two emails from one from Prefect Radiance and the other from RevitaDerm which confirms my accounts are cancelled and I quote

RivitaDerm "You will not be billed any further for this program."

    and

Prefect Radiance " You will receive no further charges from this program."

I then phoned my credit company to confirm there was still a watch on my card to prevent Prefect Rad or RivitaDerm taking money. Plus they put a note on the card confirming the cancellation of the accounts.

I also spoke to my bank again and they are aware of the cancellation by those two company's. I feel so much better and I wouldn't have cancelled the two accounts before the 10 days where up without the information on the internet.
  • Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that after being scammed too, I followed the advice on this forum and today have been refunded - phew!

I was unable to get through on any of the phone numbers listed on this forum so instead completed their online contact us page and emailed continously for several days. The first email they acknowledge, they cancelled my accounts but no mention of a refund or receiving the products. The second they said they would send out another order. I emailed them back stating I did not want another order, that all I request was a refund. I also advised that they were blatantly committing fraud and that I had reported them to the fraud department at my bank, trading standards and FTC. Surprising they agreed to refund me my money and today they have done so.

I must also add that I contacted my bank (Lloyds) and they cancelled my card and assured me that no more money would be taken out my account by this company. They did advise that I would have to wait 15 days before I could deal with the fraud department if I had not received the product - not really what I wanted to hear though!

If anyone is looking for an email address for these scammers, the one I used was support@revitalizelabs.com

Thanks Yummydummy for phone number but thank god I hopefully now don't need it. I followed info given on forum and continually pestered by emailing them daily. I threatened them with Trading standards, Watchdog and everything I could think of and here goes . . . . . .TODAY THEY CONFIRMED THEY ARE REFUNDING ALL MONIES TAKEN ! ! ! I know I cannot relax until money goes into my account but I received 3 emails confirming this will happen in 7-10 days. Please do not give up - you can get your money back! I will not stop trying to get these despicable people taking our money but have not yet heard back from Watchdog. Good luck everybody - I will let you know if and when the money is in my account:j:rotfl:
