Just to add to this thread. A friend of mine who complained at the same time as me (mid May) and received her offer letter on 27th August got her calculations through the post today. I am typing this from work so no idea if mine are waiting for me.

Seems like this should be the week a lot of people get word of how much they are due.

Now just waiting for one more cheque which I will receive after I send my signed loan agreement back to them.

Can i ask if the calculations came with the cheque?? I thought we'd get calculations first then a long wait for the cheque??

They came the same day but in separate envelopes.

Hi All,

Good to see some good news on this thread..:):):):):):):):):)

Halifax are now saying to me that payment and figures are normally dealt with within 12 working days once your case has gone to the redress team (Credit cards only). So I am currently on working day 5 and 6, expecting 3 payments before 07/10/11-Great cos that new car is awaiting :-)

Unfortunately my loans have no such 12 working day requirement and I am awaiting archived details for 4 loans and awaiting payment for another 3 loans....waiting waiting waiting....:(:(:(:(:(:(

I emailed the CEO the other day-it does work they do pass it on to the correct department-I must admit I did have my doubts..., I have a letter regarding this on its way to me now...:):):):):):):)

There was nothing waiting for me when I got home last night but I am not too concerned, happy to wait a little longer.

From what my friend told me about her figures, the 8% interest was calculated up to 21/10/11 so although her refund is being set off against her loan I would assume if she was receiving a cheque it would be sent around about that date.

Also it would appear the interest is being paid gross and not net.

I recieved my paperwork on the 27th and sent back my aceptances the same day recorded deliverly . Rang the Halifax a week later , 2 weeks later they told me they have not recieved my acceptances and have been having probelms with recorded deliverly ? I asked them to send the paperwork out again which they said they would do. Then 15 minutes later I got a phone call on mobile from the Halifax adviser saying they didnt need to send the paperwork out they could take my acceptance over the phone , I rang them last week for an update no calculation done and guess what no record of anybody calling me !!!!.
As you can guess i wasnt very happy, adviser then checked with her supervisor who said they can take an acceptance over the phone. She told me she would make a note of what had taken place and update my notes accordingly , couldnt give me a timescale on when I would recieve calculations . :-(

Thats a bit concerning as I sent mine recorded delivery. I checked online on Royal Mail website a few days after sending and it had been signed for.
