The Halifax have commenced with the calculations on all of my refunds which where returned and received by them between 26th August-2nd September. Not only that they have also found some more accounts i had not raised an issue with...

Could be an interesting week this week..:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o..

Halifax received my acceptance on the 26th August, so including that day and today, I am on day 27.

I am hopeful that within 1 week I will have the figures and I will have received the payout.

    Hi Ianc,

I am guessing like me you have received no payout or figures yet????

    and NO money:(

Come on halifax, its beginning to feel like a sick joke!

    Hi Ianc,

Not as yet, but my calculations will be a nightmare compared to most people's.

I checked yesterday and they were still on with the calculations.

I agreed that my claims handler would call me tomorrow with an update unless anything happens today.

No call as yet, so I will update you all tomorrow.

Apparently, if you have an account with Halifax, and have selected for the refund on loans to go in, it is done via their 2 hour system, rather than via BACS.

This will allow them to make payments over the weekends as well :D

I am hoping to have a nice deposit during this week though and a cheque for the CC redress to have arrived via Monday, but that could just be blind optimism :rotfl:

  • Apparently now they are saying to me, they aren't too sure whats going on with the other four claims, only the CC has redress dept written on screen. Wish they'd all at least say the same thing from the sheet of answers:wall:

I can only wait for a letter(funny they asked for my phone numbers last week), although 'don't be too disheartened as it could all change if someone hits a button to say its done' hmmmmm well I'll stick with how I feel thanks......I've got 200 quid of my overdraft left, wouldn't you feel sick right now!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Nice to know they are using the 2hr system:undecided
  • Well Halifax have done what they said and I received my calculations yesterday. Also received my new loan agreement with ppi took off and two cheques even though I did give my bank details so they could do it by bacs.

Now just waiting for one more cheque which I will receive after I send my signed loan agreement back to them.

That's great danni, well done. :j Think they are sending cheques to everyone now regardless of what you asked for.

Can I ask when you sent your signed acceptance form back?

I received it on the 31st August signed and sent straight back recorded delivery and they got it back 2nd September.
