I called the Halifax again on Saturday.

There was a differing story being told to me from their call handler.

He stated (wait for it)...'That three of my reclaims were now showing as 'calculations requested' on the later part of last week.


It would seem that they may have started to reach my acceptances recieved by them on 26th to 30th August.

He would not say when they would be completed though but hey there is some small progress....:):):):):):)

Maybe you have gone to the bottom of the pile because you won't leave them alone to work out the calculations

I hope not...., Maybe I just expect too much from these underhand banks...patience has never been a virtue of mine I must admit...:)

I got a letter from FOS upholding my MPPI complaint to Halifax/bos
dated 15th aug 2011 , i've phoned bank once but i've better things to do than wait on hold for 45mins then listen to thier nonsense about how long it takes to calculate blah blah ..so i'll just wait like a good wee boy

Brilliant news emma, i got my upheld letter the same day as you, 26th aug!! I have been preparing myself for a long wait, especially as I havent been phoning them for updates. Now that I hear both you and Ian have had positive feedback and theres the prospect of payment within the next week or so im allowing myself to get excited!!!!:j:j:j!!! Good luck hope we all hear soon!!

Got a letter from Halifax saying they have cancelled my mppi policy..so something is happening,maybe my calculations will follow shortly
