Halifax PPI redress Payments

Hopefully, maybe, perhaps I may be getting somewhere! I spoke to nerys again on Wednesday and got fobbed off again but today logged onto my accounts online and have had a refund into my credit card account, even though I requested repayment into my current account, but hey I'm not complaining! here's hoping my loan redress payment will be following shortly!

Claim upheld 18th August
Acceptance recived 24th August and scanned on 1st September

Brilliant mrs shrek!! I spoke to her on wed too and she said it was in right dept, ie redress and calculations were being done!! Need to check the account i think!! Enjoy spending your win!!

I was promised a call for yesterday by my claims advisor to update me on the progress of my claim, didn't get a call from them so not very happy:mad: I'm also in the September gang too.
Sent them another email so hopefully I will get somewhere as unfortunatley I became unemployed this week and desperatley need that money until I get another job

My acknowledgement letter was dated 5th September 2011. Yesterday I received a letter dated 8th November upholding my complaint (credit card PPI) saying money would be paid onto my card as I'm on DMP with £3k plus outstanding.
This morning I got card statement dated 8th November showing the full credit onto my card and I also received a cheque for the full amount !!!
Do I bank the cheque and hope they don't notice? Surely the worst that can happen is they take it back of my card account?

Well still no payout for me Halifax received acceptance on 03/09/11

However i also complained about my DH CC, this was only done in August be counting down the 16 week dead line, not heard anything. However on checking his account his morning he has had rebates totalling £954.

Now how does that work , had no upheld letter. I've been waiting for all this time no refund for me.

I have had a previous up held claim and although the money was put on my credit card account a cheque was then raised for the amount and the credit card balance rose again.

My parents are still waiting. The Halifax received their acceptance back a day or so after mine, so thats somewhere between 30th Aug and Sept 3rd. They've not heard a dicky bird since, and get the same fob off from them each time they ring. My mums finally caved in and has emailed the CEO today.

Funny really, as my brother has just been paid from the Yorkshire, and we all know how long they take to do things!!!!!!

Hi all
Got home today to find cheque from Halifax for £1200 waiting for me. I am sure I would still be in the queue if wasn't for Nerys so I will call her tomorrow to thank her.
Keep chipping away and eventually they will crack.

Thats brilliant news garry, im getting hoprful. They got my acceptance back on the 3rd sept too and nerys is on the case. calculations being done last tues but not completed. Think i'll give nerys a call tomorrow and see if theres been any progress.

Theres a lot of recent complaints getting upheld and cheques issued v quickly so maybe, just maybe this 'extra staff' theyre talking about are actually doing something!!
