Posted on success thread too, success with Bank of Scotland credit card of about £1600, the 12 week period was up on Monday of this week, letter dated 1st November(Tuesday), then when we checked tonight, the redress was paid to the credit card account on Tuesday also, although leaving us with a sizeable credit limit, ie owed to us, the payment clears tonight so will phone again on monday to get money transferred back to bank account. Thanks to all the competition posters.0

After the famous Nerys being involved with my complaint I have finally had a result...of sorts.
Phoned her last Friday for my weekly update and after being told that there were still no calculations I explained to her that I needed the money urgently for personal reasons. Wont go into them on here but they were genuine. While I was on the phone she emailed the redress department to explain my situation. She told me to call back today to give them time to respond.
Called today expecting the same old story but no! Calculations had been completed on the Friday and sent to the department that sends out the cheques. She told me I should receive it by the end of the week or early next week.
As I have not actually had anything in writing let alone got my hands on a cheque as yet I am calling this a qualified success. Nerys did read out the figures to me from the calculations letter and they agreed with what I was expecting so hopefully I will be £1200 better off very soon.
For info Halifax received my acceptance form on 3rd September.

They received our acceptance on 3rd as well and Nerys has done pretty much the same re contacting redress team. I phoned for an update today and she said its in the right dept, ie calculations, and that she could do nothing until the calculations were completed! Will give them another week then chase it up again. If it follows yours maybe something will happen before xmas and we'll have turkey!!Mary B0 -
Getting really fed up with Halifax/Lloyds group now. I advised one of the girls at work to try and claim back PPI from Barclays, she sent her questionnaire off at the end of September, and today she got just over £3k back from them. She was worried they'd sent her too much as she was only expecting about £1200, so she had to get me to check her letter to make sure that the money was really hers! I'm really pleased for her, but it shows how crap Halifax are being.~cherie0

That seems odd, they also confirmed my acceptence form on the 3rd September....maybe they are paying people in waves and we will all get our claim on the same day! Heres hoping its soon!0
