Sure. When I emailed the CEO, both times the same person called me back. On the second time she gave me a direct number, rather than the 0845 one.
I have called it a few times, but someone else has answered as the lady was not at work...however this morning it was definately the right woman who answered.0 -

Received my letter with cheque attached also on sat morning, letter headed in my married name, cheque on bottom in maiden name!!!!
How the hell does that happen?????????????
Phoned this morning (not operating on sats) man apologised, said he had no idea how that could happen and he'd email accounts so they could sort it!
Asked if he could sort it now, no, has to go to accounts. Upon asking, he has no idea how long it will take, or if they could transfer it straight to my current account or not, in fact he didn't seem to know anything other than there was a hge backlog and they would get to it as soon as poss!
I did then (rightly or wrongly not sure) pointed out it had already been "sorted" it was now my money and it was not my fault they had made a mistake and that i wanted it sorted asap!
He said i should hear what they are doing soon!! Grrrr:mad:
Already decieded, they have till wed, then i'm on the phone again. Seeing the cheque and then having it dangled just out of reach is unbearable, it's worse than just not knowing! x
Write an email to the CEO and put it in a direct fashion that this is not acceptable and provide your telephone number. A day or so after you should get a call about the matter. Demand they put it in your bank, as it has gone on long enough, and you don't wish for another cheque to be issued wasting more of your time. They can do it...I've had three done this way.....but after a LOT of argument!!!0 -
Day 49 since their 'receipt' of my acceptance... and still waiting on my figures.~cherie0

I think the banks are doing this on purpose,so they can hang onto the payments longer, like the poster on here who had a cheque and it was not even signed :mad:0 -
Phoned the 0845 number and 15 mins later got through. I have had my acceptence in since 5th September. She confirmed that the acceptance was with the redress department and unfortunately they are not working to any time scales. I said when the calculations are done then will I get a cheque. She said no and that I would have to send another acceptance of the calculations through and then await a cheque.
Original complaint went in 01/06/2011 so it looks like at least 6 months before I get anything like a payment for mis sale.
I wouldnt mind but all they have to do in my case is add up 7 years payments and calculate the 8 %. I can do the sums on the spreadsheet in less than 10 Minutes including data entry. Joke.
