Aye, no more for me either. Just the three smaller cheques last week. Another few to come yet. Called last night and systems were down. Post already been.
Week 23 for me too.....not good!!!
At least one cheque cleared today, so I'm not skint!:p0 -
Upheld letter dated 27 Aug 11.
Sent acceptance form back by recorded delivery. Only got to them on 16th Sept!! In the meantime had faxed another copy to them on 9 Sept. When I rang sometime after 16th Sept i was told that they had both of them scanned onto the computer as at 16th. When i told them that i had faxed them on 9th sept and had transmission report they said that it had probably been sitting in a pile waiting to be scanned onto computer!! not very good service.
Just rang them 10 mins ago to be told that systems are down (how convenient) but that i should ring tomorrow between 8am and 6pm. Will update you all once I have done that. Must say that the girl I just spoke to was much more pleasant than when I have previously rang.

Further update. Called Halifax at 8am this morning. Told that I was in the calculations queue but that there were no timescales as they had such a backlog. They told me they are going by date order and they didnt receive my acceptances until 16 Sept (although i faxed on 9th Sept). Apparently I will go through the queue until i get calculated and will then be sent to redress dept then letters will be sent out. Not really much to report to be honest.

PS. Have decided to email ceo tonight to see if it makes a difference. Have refrained from doing so so far.0 -
Hi all, new in this site, I originally sent my claim 20th May and I sent my acceptance form back 31st august, they received it 2nd september. I am getting the same as everyone, no time scales. When they say they are going in date order, does anyone know if this is from when originally made claim or when sent accetance form back?0

Looking forward to Saturday-new car.:):):):)
But am still awaiting 3 CC reclaims upheld with the Halifax.:(:(:( This is my 7Th week since they received my acceptances. Still no progress on these, anyone else still waiting on these time scales?
All three acceptances received by Halifax 26Th August, but 'still with redress team for calculations' if your theory is correct Ianc and they do work to 8 weeks then I am pretty close to that now... anybody got any good news regarding these time frames?:question::question:
Hi banks

Wouldn't count on it making any difference. I refrained until last week and have e-mailed twice. Have had no reponse at all.Mary B0 -
Is the 16 weeks period meant to be from reciept of complaint to payment?....
(if so they are already late, havent even had the calcs letter yet)
Or, is the 16 weeks just the allowance for them to reply?0 -
The 16 weeks was for them to respond from receipt of complaint. They did this by sending out the letters stating that the complaint has been upheld.
They have not given out any other specific timescales for sending out the calculations letters or payment. From posts on this thread, they are working through them 'in order', but they have not specific about whether that is from the date of the complaint, date of upheld letter, or date the acceptance was received. We also don't know how many claims they are actually working through, how many people are working on them, or how long one typical claim will take to fully process...
In short, we don't know much at all about what they're doing with our money...~cherie0 -
I cant work out what HFX are doing, we have received cheque for cc claim, which was sent 2 week
after my loan claim and heard nothing, every time I phone the answer is the same awaiting
calculation.0 -
Hi I made a claim to Halifax on 10th June 2011.A letter dated 31st August 2011 was sent by Halifax making an offer which I signed and sent back.
My question is after nearly 19 weeks of playing this game and not even receiving a figure of compensation. Does the Fsa mean that they have 16 weeks to respond initially and then however much time they dither on giving a figure?
Any idea?0
