Hi,
Thank you.
I am also awaiting CC's they take for ever to be dealt with, went in at the same time as my recent wins on the loans, but still no joy....dam Halifax.
Well done on receiving your dues today..:T:T:T:T:TMoney Saving-Reclaiming-And Won!!!:j:j:j:j:j

for cc, this was sent off 16 days after my loan ppi claim 9/6/2011. I was told yesterday that there was nothing on the screen for the claim, and to lodge complaint with fos, because it was after 16 week.
I am not complaining though, just didnt think i would get that much, thank you mse:T0 -

I eventually got so frustrated with this bunch of bankers today and sent the CEO yet another email requesting urgent payment....Then rang them an hour later to be told the email had been received and the situation was being looked into by a manager....I am somewhat hopeful it may assist in progressing my last outstanding reclaims....:(:(:(:(:(:( (6 weeks Friday)Money Saving-Reclaiming-And Won!!!:j:j:j:j:j

I haven't had my figures in the post yet, but just logged into my credit card and the following payments are showing as credits on the statement.
Premium Refund £1411.83
APR Refund £1235.60
Rebate Fefund £753.79
Now based on the fact that the APR's are as follows - 26.9% purchases, 29.95%
And the fact that the card started in 1998 makes me think that the APR figure is woefully incorrect.
I'll wait until I get the figures before I point this out, as it seems that they have struggled with the concept of compounding.

It all depends on whether compounding applies to your card or not, it is not an automatic right.
Some credit card companies say that when you made your monthly payments they were allocated in a certain order and that the PPI was the first thing you paid off each month and so there was never any compounded interest attached to PPI premiums, only the interest for the month it was incurred.
Whether they are telling the truth of course is a different matter but that is what they will claim if you challenge them about compound interest. Without all of your statements it would be very difficult to prove them wrong unfortunately. Its amazing how these banks can't even do simple calculations correctly..............0 -

Woo Hoo :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Saw the post man and thought, junk as usual.
Opened the first letter and it is my offer letter from halifax and it comes to £2,186.39 - much more than I had thought it would be!!
Just as I was been all giddy I opened the other letter and it was the cheque for payment in full.
Am so excited - think a trip uptown to the bank is in order this afternoon :T
Thank you everyone for your help and good luck to those of you still waiting. Keep on at that CEO, that's what I've been doing every other day0 -
I've been following this thread since it started and think it's about time I added my bit for a Halifax loan. My complaint was received on 1st June 2011 and acknowledged within a week. I received my upheld letter on 31st August and returned my acceptance on 1st September. To this date I am still awaiting calculations, and have got to the point now where I am considering an email to the CEO, so if anyone has the address I would really appreciate it.
Well done to those already successful. For the rest of us I'm sure our time will come0 -
