the fos upheld my complaint on 15th aug 2011, they gave the bank 8 weeks to refund me , the bank wrote to me with calculations on 29th sept 2011..calculated til 14th oct 2011 saying if we dont hear from you we will assume you accept our offer/calcs...

I spoke to my claims handler on wednesday and she told me that they are going in date order, now the date order she told me they were following in is the date they sent the upheld form out to us, mine was dated 23rd of August but I still have not received a response

can we follow a list so we can see if this is true. sort of like the other one earlier on in this forum. I will start

Date complianed: 20th May
Dated received upheld letter: 23rd August
Date received acceptance letter: 3rd September
Date received payment: Still waiting

Dated received upheld letter: 27th August (I think)
Date Halifax received acceptance letter: 26th August
Date received payment: Receiving cheques now

I sent my acceptance back via special delivery, which cost about £5.

Most didn't and mine was received and logged almost a week earlier than others that didn't, so money well spent.

I don't see the logic of them sending me a cheque for each of my loans and on different days.

I've now had 1 cheque for my CC claim and 3 cheques for my loans.

So based on that, I have another 4 cheques to receive, and the first was received last Wednesday.

Very strange, but enjoying receiving cheques everyday.

It was just be sad when it stops :rotfl:

Im in the same boat , no calculations yet , adviser said should get a payment before christmas but I wouldnt count on it .

Nothing still for me guys, spoke to my claim handler on friday and she said calculations still not been started, they received my acceptence back on 2nd September.

I get Married in a month so fingers crossed it will come back before then!!!!!
