A question for mothers of adult children please

- the narcissistic parent nametag is thrown around a lot online, but there is very little mention of offspring having the traits - and for the number of parents to be described thus, there had to be an equal number of children like it, more even, as not all would have children.

This, this, this.
In fact, the thing that always alarms me is that support often centres around a belief that the children of such mothers are unusually kind/patient/saintly. Which in itself seems a little.....well...narcissistic! (Please note I am not making a personal comment about any one commenting on this thread)
Fwiw, my mother is barking, my sister is barking and I am we'll aware I show some of the same traights and I only win the battle against their supremacy in my character some of the time.

That was what I was alluding to in a previous post. We see all too clearly the traits in others, and yet others probably see the same traits in us.!!0 -
I can definitely see some of the same traits in myself and I want desperately not to let them flourish.
I want a good relationship with my mum. I trust her with dd.
But yes I need to find a way forward in how I deal with these "tantrums".0
