They have known each other for years as advised by OP. They have a young son and things changed once he arrived. Can think of one famous sportsman whose marriage came close to collapse during his wifes pregnancy. He has a bad temper, apparently only shown at home, though I am not so sure. He seems like someone who likes things his way. Arrogant, nearly bald guy who can lose his temper when things dont go his way. Not a stranger to lashing out when it suits him.

I reckon in the last 18 months he has bad press for another reason. Hence this woman not wanting any more bad press.
The OP also said she wished she hadn't put herself so much in the public eye. There are only a couple of women who are wives of famous sportsman who have put themselves that much in the public eye to think that everyone would recognise them, that also match the above descirptions. If this is not a hoax one person stands out very clearly to me.

Maybe this is all a hoax, for someone who is watched constantly the OP has been on here telling potentially the world and his wife about her marital problems without having been seen for a long time. Would it be impossible for her to have upped and left in that time, or somehow made a phone call to the police? To be honest if I were in this apparent situation the last place I would be on is a money saving site asking for advice though. It doesn't add up

Surely if the OP is for real, then the threat of any reporters finding out would be a good thing, in that it would get into the open and prevent the guy from hurting her like other posters have said.

Where are the passports kept? If you spent time with his mum doesnt she think its weird you dont have your own mobile? Go to the shop and buy one.

This just sounds crazy to me. I have no idea who it could be though if its real. One thing that makes me think it could be a wind up is why would a famous person be on a money saving website.

i thought it was the same person you are thinking but she has been on 10 holidays this year so far some without the husband if you believe the likes of OK mag etc...

i hope this isnt a troll. you really do need to call womens aid and get them to find you a safe place to hide till everything is sorted out. you wont be the first famour person to have rang them and gotten their help and sadly you wont be the last.
